Saying he is fighting powderpuff fighters is also a pretty stupid reason. He is 22, he's still at an early age at his career... hell, Joe Calzaghe fought shitty opponents for the better part of 10 years, I don't see anyone seeing him want to get KTFO? In fact the reality is almost every fighters first 20 or so fights will be a steady building process, gradually increasing the opposition, which in truth he has...

His last 6 fights have been against a..
    • A previous world title challenger (correct me if i'm wrong) - Graham Earl
    • A ex world champion (again, correct me if i'm wrong) - Gairy St.Clair
    • A top 10 lightweight in the WBA rankings - Martin Kristjansen
    • A ex WBU champion with decent power, past his best a bit maybe... - Michael Gomez
    • A dangerous columbian banger with a almost perfect KO percentage, this one didn't turn out so well of course.. - Breidis Prescott
    • And of course Oisin Fagan.... not much to say about him.
Which when you look at it isnt THAT bad. Every boxers first 20 or so fights will be padded slightly, why can't people seem to realise that?

When it all comes down to it I think one thing above all fuels the hate for him, especially in England - his race. Which I think is pretty sad, the boy is british either way. I couldn't care if he was knocked out 10 times in a row, if the boy was british I would be behind him 100% of the way. I'm backing him to beat Barrera and I hope he does, I think it's pretty low when people are running around saying they hope Barrera knocks him out brutally... especially if their british.
It doesn't matter to me whether a fighter is british or martian for that matter. If I like a guy I like him, if not I don't. I've said before it's Warren I hate not Khan but on the same note Khan still needs to earn his respect and not just expect it.

And as for padded slightly, compare Khans first 20 with Oscars. I don't think I need to say anymore.

Very very few fighters in history will have first 20 fights comparable in degree to Oscar.
