Jennings was never expected to win this anyway. It was a big step up for him and it showed. The guy deserves credit for giving it a go though. He's obviously no world beater, but very few are. Cotto got his win, no need to gloat over Jennings though. He was in over his head and could have stayed down early, but got up and was sensible to stop when he did. Leave it at that, I say.

Danny is such a fucking nut hugger... look at him going off and gloating in this thread.
He wanted to see Cotto beat up a Cherry picked opponent for a few more rounds?...
Did you think you'd be able to finish off that box of Kleenex?

Matthew Hatton is a fighter trained by Billy Graham (ie: to lead with his face) with out half the natural talent Ricky has - on other words he's never going to be near elite

I don't really understand this gloating to be honest, Jennings is a barely known domestic fighter who 99% if the population of Britain will never have heard of.
Instead of shouting what a great win it is for Cotto I'd rather just keep quiet about it so nobody draws attention to the fact that Cotto's confidence had fallen so far he needed to take such a backwards step as to fight a guy like Jennings in the first place.
It reminds me of a student who flunks all their exams and so has to go and retake the year, or the kid who fails his driving test and needs to do it again.
These kind of setbacks are embarrassing, an indication of failure, and such most don't glory too much when they finally pass out from college a year later than everybody else or finally get their wheels, several months after their mates are already driving.
