It's not PAC's fault he's been installed at the no. 1 P4P boxer throne... He didn't buy that position... But to say that it's sad day for boxing having PAc at that position is totally ridiculous... PAC had done a lot for boxing... He bring excitement to the sport... He's one of the most exciting boxers around...
    .
Unfortunately he also brings the worst fans...

It is a sad day cos it shows the standard of boxing is slipping. I never said its Manny's fault but truth is he shouldnt be #1 in any era.
    Then who's #1??
    .
Can u read? I said he should be but if this era was as strong as others he wouldnt be. That is why it is sad for boxing. In RJJ's reign he might no have made the top 5!

By your logic, you're only criticizing the strongest boxer among the bunch of "weak" boxers which is totally delusional... Why don't you switch to UFC/MMA and leave this boxing forum now?? You're a disgrace to be considered as a boxing fan...

Im just making an observation. I am worried that boxing is going downhill cos someone as limited in ability is the best around at the moment. It is a true statement, and u havent been able to prove it wrong, so why am i a disgrace?

So you're one of those "boxing is dying" critics?? Don't worry, 2009 is so far looking good for boxing and we still have to see this May 2nd megafight... Boxing will survive... Just don't try to put it down for it will be a disgraceful act by a boxing fan...

Did i say boxing is dying? No i didnt. I think the standard may be slipping a little that is all. It is a megafight in terms of the amount of fans, but in terms of skill it pales when compared to fights like Hearns v Leonard, Toney v Jones, or Mosely v DLH, or Hopkins v Trinidad. Shit Pbf already owned Hatton and he'd do the same thing with Pac.

That's why I'm hoping PAC can convincingly defeat Hatton... More convincing than what PBF did to Hatton so that hopefully PBF will come out from retirement and fight PAC... And let's see if PBF will really own PAC...

Your basing a p4p standing as worst because of 2 controversial fights with JMM...now I'm calling you an idiot. Manny has taken on all comers and now is facing the undisputed Jr Welterweight champion of the world who has not lost at that weight. And your calling him limited. Manny has power, speed, determination to win and goes for the gusto every time he steps in the ring. Also your saying he brings the worst fans why because they stand by their countrymen or love the fact that he brings crossover appeal. The sport needs more humble boxers like Manny who know how to do their job when the bell rings. I think he is the right choice for p4p#1 at this moment and time. I think he is just as good as Pernell Whitaker who at times could put people to sleep with his style. Plus he is only 30 and his career is not even done yet. And your boy Roy Jones had opponents that he should have fought but chose not to and you know who I'm talking about Eagle because we been here b4. But Roy chose to fight the Richard Fraziers of the world instead of more meaningful fights. Manny is good for the sport and the ppv numbers are showing it too.

    Are you kidding me?

You have no room to talk about being a disgrace as a boxing fan.

You make people hate Pac with all your bull$hit posts, and delusional propaganda!! How is that good for boxing, and good for Pac, when you make people want to see him get KTFO?

You're the worst kind of boxing fan.

Hearing rumblings about Tye Fields comeback bid,Strictly speaking on the Heavyweights,on size and imtimidation alone...surely he can garner 1 or 2 p4p points?

You know eagle I never really looked at this in this light...
You bring up a very interesting point P4P #1 who could Pac beat.

Tyson, JCC, Pernell, RJJ, ODLH, SSM, B-Hop & PBF have all been #1 P4P.
Who could Pac beat in their prime P4P?
I really can't see him beating any of these guys.

    Anyone care to elaborate?
