You know eagle I never really looked at this in this light...
You bring up a very interesting point P4P #1 who could Pac beat.
Tyson, JCC, Pernell, RJJ, ODLH, SSM, B-Hop & PBF have all been #1 P4P.
Who could Pac beat in their prime P4P?
I really can't see him beating any of these guys.
Anyone care to elaborate?

P4P is to imagine fighters in terms of their brilliance regardless of weight classes. If you look at the skill sets of the fighters that Mick lists and look at who they beat and at what point in their respective careers then it is my conclusion that Manny Pac would be out of his league with most of them. As an example, Tyson against Pac at some mythical comparable weight. I'm of the opinion that Manny gets decapitated.
Manny's big wins have all come against older fighters who have been in lots of wars. That's not his fault admittedly, but Pac doesn't have the P4P status that those other P4P no 1's have had. He's very good, of course he is. But he isn't a great like a Tyson or an Ali.
HE IS NOT THE WORST P4P #1,,,,PACMAN WAS THE BEST!!!!! JMM is not as good as pac is,,,,,, JMM has only beaten Cassamayor and baby bull, compared to Pac which JMM was his first victim Diaz wbc champ and De La Hoya......if JMM can beat De La Hoya then thats the time you can claim that he should be the #1 moron
And this is another reason why it is now in the spam section....enjoy.![]()
bang on Job Andre...
I think Pac is an awsome fighter and one of my favs in this sport, but some of the posts in this thread make it embarrising for me to say i'm a Manny Pac fan incase i get labled in the same braket as these loons
its not just Manny who has some crap blind fans... hatton also has his fair share also.
again good work Andre... now i'm off to clean out some of the muppets.

ya know boss, i took it as a compliment a few times when you mentioned I was an unbiased fan, and I too am a fan of Manny. I think it is hard for anyone to argue the man's skill.
It is bothersome to me that I find myself wanting to see him get creamed just because of the trolling nature of certain fans. I honestly thought I was above that sorta bias. I don't know. really, I hope the fight is a good one, but think the line often gets crossed to where it isn't in any way about rivalry and all about attention, and negative attention at that.
I like the bantor back and forth, but there comes a time when it isn't about the fighters and just about personalities and trolling, and feel we are getting there now. Been getting difficult to as of late to even open the main boxing board without giving a sigh, and closing it back up.
yeah i don't mind good threads mate but this Manny is great or Ricky is great for no other reason than they are proud fans is getting tiresome...
i have no preference on who wins this one as i am a big fan of both guys and will be happy and sad regardless who wins.
i will say this if Pac wins it will be a hell of an achivement IMO.
and yes the pactards will invade this place and fill it full of crap... but the mods here are great and we'll just clean and ban if needed... same if hatton wins and his Hattards invade the place
it happens all the time around big fights but because most hatton and pac fans aint really boxing fans but fan of one boxer... its usually worse around there fights.
but it aint hard to clean up just need to be on top of everything![]()

Sorry to bring up this old thread, but as much as I don't like Pacman, Roy Jones fought alot more bums in his career than Pacman. Like Rick Frazier the cop on HBO for the lightHeavy Championship. And that fight wasn't even a tune up fight. An old ass McCallum at 40 years old. Virgil Hill was like 35 or 36.
