I see Taylor winning on the cards, Froch to have some succes late when JT tires. Don't think Carl is busy enough to tire him to a standstill late.

Voted Froch by KO as its the only way I see him being able to win, JTs got the skills/speed and Froch may have an edge in the power/desire dept, looking forward to this one should be a cracker.

I disagree, I think Taylor has the edge in power....Dont let the KO percentage fool you....The biggest names on Froch's resume are Reid and Pascal (both are fringe at best), Taylor has Hopkins (twice), pavlik (twice), Winky, Marquez, Joppy, Spinks, Ouma, Eduoard, Lacy

Taylor had Pavlik doing the Judah shuffle from 1 punch and I believe he buzzed B Hop a few times.......

Taylor has the edge in speed, power, skills, experience

You mean in a re-rematch. Pavlik already beat him twice and at middleweight, Pavlik knocks him out again.

Taylor punched himself out in the first fight and THAT is the reason pavlik got the KO......Taylor gave Pavlik way to much respect in the second fight which was a close fight and after Taylor saw what Hopkins did to Pavlik I think Taylor can make the adjustments and win a 3rd fight IMHO.

Why does it matter the reasons behind Taylor's losses? He lost. That's it. You cite Taylor's stamina in the first fight and determination and strategy or courage (not sure which) in the second fight as the reasons Taylor lost. However, stamina, determination, courage, and strategy are factors that contribute to making a boxer bad, good, or great. Taylor's stamina, determination, and strategy are not on par with Pavlik. Give Pavlik his due. Not only did he knock him out in highlight-reel fashion the first time around, but he outboxed him the second time. Moreover, the reason Taylor was tentative in the second fight is because he felt Pavlik's power the first time around. That'll do it. I like Taylor and picked him to beat Froch. But, at 160, Pavlik has his number.

Taylor from what ive seen doesnt like punchers who come for him and apply the pressure. Carl will be doing this from round 1 and Jermain will have to work for every min of every round. One of Taylors main problems recently is his stamina, he gets tired and his work ethic falls because of that. Carl is going to face his problems early in the fight and like Pavlik in the first fight if he can weather the storm hes going to cause big problems when the rounds progress.

Carl will apply a lot of pressure in the fight and I personally dont think Taylors defence is this best and if he gets caught hes going to face a lot of problems from Carl. If Carl gets silly and doesnt apply the pressure with good powerful combinations he will lose a UD here from the slickness of Taylor. But I personally dont believe Taylor will be able to win every round by using his speed because he does have stamina issues which carl will expose in this fight.

Taylor also likes to get involved, we have seen natural 154 fighters give him problems. Carl is a massive 168 fighter and Jermain will never have faced somebody as strong as Carl IMO. If it goes toe and toe and I have a feeling it will I think Carl will be far too much for him and he will stop him.

I have a firm belief that we will see the best from Carl Froch but he has to use his head. Jermain Taylor is a very good fighter but he has his flaws, I know Carl will use his strengths against them and stop Taylor in this fight.

    Carl Froch by knockout
Stamina issues? U do realise most of them were due to his struggle to make 160? Look hiw much stronger he looked at 166, and at 168 he'll be better again!

U personally dont think Taylors defence is great? Well how bad is Carl's non existent defence then? I mean the guy gets tagged consistently by guys who arent ranked in the top 100. Even powderpuff Pascal gave him all he could handle.

Strength dont mean shit really. Taylor will be as big as Carl, and if strength made that big a difference Luis Monaco would be HW champ of the world.

Carl will be too much for Taylor and stop him? He couldnt eveb stop relative nobody Pascal!

What natural 154 fighter has ever hurt Taylor. Sure he looked bad at times v Winky and Spinks, but that is because they are 2 of the best defensive fighters around. There wasnt a moment in either fight Taylor looked like going down.

Look mate please stop acting as tho Taylor has loads of flaws and Froch has hardly any. Froch is maybe the most flawed world champ around at the moment.

Carl's only hope is if Taylor is shot due to too many big fights over the years. I think this is a big possibility. If Taylor is 90% the fighter he was v BHOP and Winky he'll school Froch all night long.
