I heard from Sergio earlier today, and he let me know that he was in Vegas yesterday, and he came to terms with, and signed off on fighting Pavlik at the end of June or July, in Atlantic City.

They are just waiting for Pavlik and his team to sign off on the deal, which will supposedly happen next week.

I'm just really pissed off, because Arum has been saying for weeks that Kelly's next fight will be here in Cleveland, and now the rat b@stard went and changed sites on me. It would have been so perfect for me to have Sergio come here to fight.

I found out afterwards, that Arum is possibly thinking of doing another split site PPV, with the other main event coming out of Mexico. Which sounds to me, that Arum is lining up a fight for Margacheato in Mexico. I'll try to get more on that from Sergio this weekend. I hope that's not true, because I will never support Margacheato ever again, and it sucks that he will be on the same card as Sergio and Pavlik. I'll have a hard time with that one.

Plus, if it's true about it being Margacheato, I think he would be a complete dumbass to thumb his nose at the California Commission. I don't think they would be all too happy to reinstate him if he does. Which actually, might be a good thing, IMO, because I don't think one year is enough for a man who has no regard for the health and safety of another human being.

Obviously, I'm nervous about this fight, yes I'm friends with, and will always support Sergio, but I'm not blind to his limitations. I know he'll never knock Kelly out, but I think his awkward style will give Kelly some problems. Sergio has been wanting this fight for a long time, so I think he just might rise to the occasion, and do a lot better than you guys think he will.

It's a shame that a lot of you guys don't like him, because I know, that if you ever got the chance to talk to him, and get to know him, you would really like him. He really is a very down to earth and humble guy.

So, come on guys, get it out of the way now.

I'll have to send an email to Leftylee, and laugh at him, because he can't stand Sergio, and now since he asked Saddo to ban him for 6 weeks, he can't come in here and hate on him.
I've liked Mora since the contender and felt he'd be a world champ one day. Which he did when he fought Vernon Forrest. I knew he'd lose when he came to the rematch overweight though. Im guessing 154 is too small for him to fight consistantly at and yet he seems to be disadvantaged at 160.

So saying all that, the guy seems willing to fight anyone and doesn't ever back down from challenges. Goes from Vernon Forrest to Kelly Pavlik. Takes guts, and there are fighters who get more praise then Mora yet wouldn't take the same kind of risk. So him fighting Pavlik should bring him more respect.

I'm on boat with VD, Mora winning this fight wouldnt surprise me. If he does what Hopkins did and box Pavlik without giving him a chance to set his feet and circling away from the right hand then he could beat him.

Pavlik since winning that title hasn't really been the "Ghost" Pavlik he was when he was coming up. He takes a lot more punches and seems to rely on his power a lot more now, that will be his downfall if he loses to Mora.

It should be a good fight. I'll go with Mora Split Decision in that one, if he can take Pavlik's right hand which he will undoubtably take somewhere in the match.
