    I can't think of any that didn't have an amateur career, I can think of a couple that had very few amatuer fights, like Margarito & Paul Willaims

    Pachuggers might correct me on this. But I think Manny went straight to pro-boxing from selling stolen cigarrettes. Jim Lampley also keep saying that he was a kickboxer first?

    I've heard that he had a few amateur fights either right after jail or right before going in.

    James Toney only had 30 odd fights - George Foreman around 18 I think.
