when your friends talk about boxing.......

Do you ever feel the need to rush in with a "listen i know the sport far better than you"....

Was in a pub last night with a load of mates chatting when suddenly the subject of david haye came up to which my mate who is a very casual fan like many said...

"his fighting that klitschko fella isnt he, he`s the biggest heavyweight around at the moment"

I immidiately just had to fly in with "no he isnt the biggest heavyweight is a bloke called Nikolay Valuev who`s 7 foot 4" to which he responded.....

"nah i think youve got that wrong there mate, klitschkos the biggest"

After years of knowing this bloke and having been through thick and thin together i had the sudden urge to smash my glass over the table, stick it right into his neck and assure him i know far more about the sport than he`ll ever know and never to question me on the topic again.

Is this a result of me suffering from some sort of pent up anger resulting from a series of unfortunate mishaps in life or was i indeed right to get extremely angry?

hahahaha me too.. infact i get pissed up mates arguing in the pub then "Let's phone Si" at 1,2,3am for info

Only last week my mate was hammered asking me shit about HAtton v Pac etc.

Actually gets on my tits sometimes if i'm honest

A good few of my mates are well into it but not to the extent most of us are and most of them have been to fights years ago and some still do and always have a boys night in if theres some big fights on!

Know a lot of girls who are into it too.

Infact i nicked my new missus of a Light Welter weight Pro fighter (Brett James) who lost to Ross Minter a few years back and had a not too bad record.
