    Froch would get beat by

    Pavlik
    Kessler
    Calzaghe

    Green
Miranda would be good fight for as long as they lasted....

I got a Chuckle out of myself because Carl Froch was everything I said he was until about 2min left in the fight Seriously though, its a good comeback win a good fight to save face if you were a huge fan of his talking smack.. The reality is, he isint all that... a Face first fighter shiit defense no handspeed and 0 technical ability...

He has great power and heart though, for that he will make for a good person to watch

You have to give Froch credit for coming to America and getting the job done. Good win for a young champion.

i truly believe Froch has gotten to where he has almost purely on fitness. technique and skill wise he is almost unbearable to watch, but he masks it well with conditioning.
What a stupid fucking excuse, I can't believe people are actually clinging to this rather than giving Froch (and by extension Taylor) some credit. Taylor was showing no signs of serious fatigue until Froch started landing right hands.

I don't know Josh; Froch seemed to start landing more regularly only due to Jermaine being very slow to throw any punches until it started getting to the last minute or less of a round.

Jermaine shows his lack of conditioning and running hot in alot of fighs; this one no different. But in the end it is a poor excuse, for Jermaine to not be able to learn from his past mistakes. And I gotta give Froch credit cause' he can take a shot and he just came on and wanted to win; and came in shape. God 60% of boxing goes down o conditioning and Carl was in shape. I still think Froch is sloppy as hell and his chin can't hold up forever but he got it done tonight, and he should have learned some stuff tonight cause' he was in deep for a while.
Maybe. I didn't notice any real signs of slowing until Froch began to land his right hand. However, Taylor did pretty much stop throwing his right, which was terrorizing Froch, which makes me think that Dean might have been on to something when he said it looked like Taylor had hurt his hand. Either way, Froch and Taylor both deserve credit for putting on a great fight.

I strongly disagree with that statement, but this isn't the time or the place for that discussion. I certainly agree that nationality should in no way influence peoples opinions of a fighter.
This is my bigger point really. The other is left to ones self and history.....Ok,not the time though, your right bud.

Lopez not going all out to start it.Both thinking it through.Penalosa warned for head.Interesting 1st round

I give Froch all the credit in the world. Taylor was a bit tired, but Froch poured it on in the end and he got rewarded.

Froch fights kinda weird but you cannot put down that type of determination. As for Taylor, well it seems he just cannot take constant pressure well.

Yeah the trouble with Froch is he's a bit like a more skilled Andrade. He's more talented than Andrade and has the same granite chin but like Andrade he can be made to look slow and awkward by slick boxers.

His only way of beating Kessler would be to knock him out and I just don't see him doing that, Kessler is not a good matchup for Froch.

He'd do in Lucian Bute though, and even Alan Green

Him and Andrade would be great, Gatti Ward at 168
He's similar to Andrade, but not all that similar. Andrade has a better chin and puts on pressure in a much more intense way. He's also better technically IMO, though I think Froch has more one-punch power from what I've seen. I'd love to see a Froch - Andrade fight.

I think Bute beats both of them and I'm certain Kessler does.
I don't see how you can say Andrade has a better chin, I'm sure Taylor hits harder than Yusaf Mack, and he caught with two absolute bombs in that round.

Froch's chin is rock solid imo.

I think Froch beats Andrade if they meet but it would be a great fight for the fans, guaranteed excitement and action.

For the record I think Froch is technically better than Andrade, who was 1-14 as an amatuer.

Froch looks sloppy at times but he's got skills.

He's better than you guys give him credit for, I actually reckon he's capable of knocking out Kelly Pavlik, 50/50 fight imo.

Bute and Kessler, both of whom have legitimate power beyond that of Jermaine Taylor, were landing almost at will against Andrade and he walked right through it. Taylor hurt Froch several times in this fight. Also, Mack may have dropped Andrade, which excellent punches, but Andrade never seemed seriously hurt.

From a boxing perspective the better fighter did not win. In many ways it may have been better for Froch had he lost because I get the feeling he will carry thinking heart and fitness is enough at world level. It was a bit like when Nassem Hamed came over to USA and Kevin Kelley showed chinks in his armour. But JT showed at times that Froch didn't even deserve to be into the same ring as him.
I think his promoter needs to think very carefully about Froch's future. He shouldn't go for rematch, because I don't think he will get away with it for a second time. I don't think he will EVER beat Kessler nor Pavlik. So I'm not sure what the future holds for him. He is undefeated world champion, however he is vunerable aganist ANY top level fighter.
