so glad he did it though, i will watch the fight on itv tommorow night. I knew this fight would end late in favour of Carl though
It was pretty damn late. He stopped him with 15 seconds left. All Taylor had to do was finish the fight and the belt was his.

Froch always had it under control, he was just creating a cliffhanger to entertain the crowd and make sure they remembered him

I thought I saw a done middle weight drop him hard, im sure of it?

Froch will now have sphincter spasms everytime he hears Kesslers name

Oh and still Froch is to face a top super middle

I give Froch much respeect....and Taylor for really bringing the fight. But it was hisconditioning that got to him once again I think. Good job to both fighters

Sorry Tam, he confirmed what I knew.

Hes to big for Taylor and would be made to look a fool on the way to Taylor gassing, oh and his chin isnt great either

At 31 I ddont see him getting any quicker and Kessler would rip him apart, Mikkel wouldnt have stood off when Carl had that stupid look on his face while he was sat on his ass on the canvas The fight would have ended that round

Hell of a fight. This IMO is up there for Fight of the Year challenging Marquez-Diaz.

I think there should be a rematch between them.

It must be gutting for Taylor knowing all he had to do was stay on his feet for 15 more seconds and he was the champ. Hopefully it doesn't have a bad mental effect on him.

But I'd like to see a rematch of this one. If Holt and Torres had a rematch there's no reason Taylor and Froch shouldn't imo.

Of course I doubt that it will happen. Would be nice if it did. But what will probably happen is Froch will fight lower tier people then Taylor and Taylor will be fighting on ESPN somewhere until Froch fights Kessler and loses.

Ross you are a fucking moron. Froch took some tremendous shots in that round and got straight back up to win the fight.

How many fighters in history go through their entire careers without getting dropped especially by a great shot.

The three fighters considered to have the best chins in the sport, Margarito, Andrade and James Toney have all been dropped and in Margarito's case knocked out.

He went down, but kept his composure and came back to win the fight, he's got one hell of a chin.

And Taylor can hit, just ask Kelly Pavlik.

I was watching it fella glued to it infact.

Froch looked slow and lazy to me but i knew he had it in him to fuck JT up.

Hand on heart i think Froch could lose to a Kessler or B-Hop.

Great fight and Froch is laughing all the way to the bank now

2 top notch fights on the spin now and he showed a huge pair to get up and go on to do that in the 12th.

I'd be surprised is Froch fights too many lower tiered opponents from now on. He's been waitin for any opportunity to show up, he got it, not many gave him a chance, and he took it. He has always said he doesn't want to hang around fightin people nobody has heard of. I guess he would look the total fool if he were to start fightin lower tier after sayin that. As much as i admire him as a boxer, he is a knockout waitin to happen i think. Kessler will punch harder than taylor, but won't be as quick.

    Grow up

Froch was dropped hard by a middle weight who was only 166, even Carl said himself after seeing that weight that Jermain isnt a real supermiddle.

Wait till Kessler or Andrade is catching that chin

Truth of the matter is, Taylor is the first real known quantity we can guage Carl off, Jermains last few performances havent been great, hes been kod by Pavlik and dropped by Lacy, hes moved up to avoid Pavlik and if it wasnt for his stamina would have whitewashed Carl and if Taylor wasnt gunshy he would have finished off Carl in that Third round seeing as there was a good half a minute left.

Wait till he fights a top supermiddle because as yet he hasnt.

I agree with Ross a bit here, i dont think Froch has got anywhere near a granite chin and another fighter would of ended him early if they had him in that trouble in the third, but Bilbo called it right, but Froch looked alot bigger than Taylor Kessler wouldsmash Froch imo.

Who cares what Kessler would do? Kessler won't be fighting anyone of note for another year because of his legal troubles.

The question is does Froch have it in him to beat Bute? He is the lone major player at super middleweight.

Froch called out Pavlik and Calzahge, but Pavlik is busy for the rest of the year and Calzaghe is retired.

Well Kessler is number one in the division so sort of makes sense

I think you will find alot of people care and it has been brought up many times, since Frochs victory.
