As for World Domination.... i don't see it! i just posted an article of the possibility
When did I say he wouldn't beat Kotelnik ?

You implied that he would rule the world, to me that suggets he will beat everybody out there and win multiple world titles.

There's a difference between that and winning an alphabet title against the worst world champion at the weight class Andriy Kotelnik.

If your theory is that you "Rule the world" when you win an alphabet title all I can do is this.....

    I implied this...

"Khans impressed me the way he's bounced back and under Roach i think he'll get the title he so badly wants."

    Nothing more
Which is why you named the title of the thread, "Khan-Ready to rule the world" did you not ?

i think he will beat Kotelnik too

But he has pissed me off even more with his statement.....
Similar to Express, in Sun this morning "who would thought I would get this far so soon............It took David Haye 7 years to win a title, Carl Frcoh 8 years....I will have done it in half the time"

Yes and it will take Prescott longer.

So why will he have managed to do it in half the time.........

And didn't you say you wanted a rematch with Prescott before you challenged for a world title...

Haye rebounded from defeat to win the LINEAL title in his 5th year after "earning" his WBC shot through the European title route.

That's a bit different to getting an alphabet shot because you have a big fish promoter.

    Kudos to Warren then

If i was Khan i'd be VERY happy to have any sort of title shot within 4 years plus a high profile fight with Barrera and after such a brutal loss to Prescott.

Fact is if he beats Kotelnik he's right up there for a crack at a real title.

I'd be happy as with that if i were him

never thought of it that way, very true - kudos to Warren ;-)

It's Khan annoying me talking as if it was all him who got him this far - and not Warren or the silver medal

Part of it is also how popular Khan is. The fact is he and Haye remain the only active boxers (assuming Hatton retires) who have names are recognizable to the casual sports fan. Carl Froch may get there after another fight, but the fact remains that his last fight's delayed screening had no publicity behind it and he remains a bit of a no-mark to your average non-boxing fan. Haye is everywhere on Setanta & in the press for the past few months, and Khan is probably the most well-known of recent years after Hatton & Calzaghe because of his Olympic exploits & his initial fights being on ITV

Could you not argue that everything he has got so far has been down to his Silver Medal? Like that's the reason he's supposedly had it all his own way and in a way cheated the system?

But then you could argue that it was he who actually put the graft in to win the medal. There was no promotional bullshit going on. He won the medal which paved the way for this route to the title, so kudos to Khan aswell i say.

He's fighting Kotelnik for the WBA title. That is a REAL "world" title if you take any notice of the big four alphabets.

Warren is quite brilliant at what he does... contrary to what many fans think.

What youve got to remember though is Amir is despised in this Country . Even the Brits booed him off the stage in Vegas at the Pac weigh in. This stuff he says does him no favours either so atleast we know he suffers with not being accepted. He is made to feel uncomfortable where ever he goes and he suffers the feeling of rejection at home or abroad GREAT STUFF! Hope it keeps up

Think thats a bit harsh GAME, he talks some total crap when it comes to what he's achieved but I think its more the people around him that are milking him for everything he is worth and making him believe. He's a nice guy, a tremendously talented boxer, but he will get stopped again sooner or later. Unless, boilin down to lightweight affected his punch resistance, which i doubt.

He'll beat kotelnik, but he won't beat a world class operator. My only worry is he could sneak around people for ages fightin the likes of Urango who he could just outbox for 12 rounds. Surely, as he's got a title fight so early in his career he can't avoid people for ever.

It may be viewed as harsh but I just want him to experience some severe pain thats all.

I dont like him and I look forward to watch him suffering. I didnt like Harrisson either and dont think much of De Gale. Its their attitude that pute people off. Ive grown to respect Carl Froch and Calzaghe cuz they are true world class fighters. They started off abit lippy too.

Khan needs to serve his apprenticeship 1st before getting all these underserved opportunities
