Any boxer can retire anytime they want...

PAC said one more fight and then will evaluate to retire or not...

I hope PAC's next fight will be against PBF then retire after that...
    .
highly doubt it, and honestly can see him taking the same un-deserved lashing that Mayweather got for "avoiding" competition
PAC has a very valid reason to retire, he's planning to run for congressional seat in the Philippines May 2010 elections...

don't take it the wrong way, i think he's accomplished more than enough, but i honestly don't doubt that he'd get criticized just like PBF

Pac wants PBF, and that's who we all want to see him fight! PBF will beat Marquez and then what is stopping this fight from happening? It will happen in November or December, they will argue and procrastanate and bitch about who is the bigger drawcard etc but it will happen and yes, i see Pacquiao retiring after the fight if he wishes. I can't see Pacquiao taking another fight before that.

If Cotto get past Clottey on June 13, I think Arum will try to match-up PAC with Cotto at a catch weight of 144 lbs...

Then they will have a press conference in the morning of July 18 PBF vs. JMM fight announcing "The Battle of Asia and America" Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight for October...

PAC then retires after the Cotto fight...
