Bollocks would he have been stopped without the cut. Khan carries no power and flurries like a pansy.

Barrera would have knocked Khan out and would have been getting to him a lot earlier than he did were it not for that axe wound messing up his vision. It was a fluke win and the fact that Khan doesn't want a rematch speaks volumes about their confidence in doing it again.

Khan is a phony and a fake and will get shown up sooner rather than later. Meanwhile I hope Barrera comes back soon and gets in line for a shot at 135 before retiring.

    Exactly! Well said Miles.

People that think Khan would have stopped Barrera without the cut are talking s**t. Pac and Marquez couldnt even floor him in his two big fights before that. If Barrera had headbutted Khan and Amir couldnt see would we have seen a different fight ? Ofcourse but Khan couldnt even hurt a blinded Marco whereas if Khan couldnt see Barrera would have put him to sleep.

Travesty and the BBBC who have upheld this decision have proven themselves to be just as corrupt. The only thing that would make me feel better now would be too see Amir get badly injured vs Kotelnik. I hope he gets cut and lets see how they negotiate a win for him somehow.
Khan got very, very lucky. As simple as that. I don't agree with the assertion I have been hearing that Barrera is washed up either. He is obviously past his best but the Khan fight indicates little to me as to where Barrera might be at because the fight was all but null from the second minute. I know some are saying to retire but I see no harm in at least having another fight to see where he is at. Obviously it can't be against Khan as he is taking his well deserved crack at a 140 belt...

It was a shocking fight and one that should make all foreign fighters very wary before making any deal with Warren and Co. again. With officiating like that you stand little chance in the wake of any accident and they will play it against you.

I too hope Kotelnik manages to beat the living daylights out of Khan. That would be at least some compensation for the Barrera fight.
