No doubt.Anything that could encourage him, keep him grounded & active in body and mind.I'd rather have him training-learning-experiencing with me in his ear rather than knocking around in the streets.Have always looked at Boxing as a metaphor for lifes trials and tribulations,one day your on top of the world and the next not so much,and vice-versa.Now....clearly if the little man progresses but just did not have it...was in there just to play a tough guy and "kick someones ass" but was getting knocked around....loosing interest,and school-career were suffering,thats the point at which pops has to step in and be a father.

Don't become one of these loon parents that tries to live vicariously through the child.....the mom entering the 4 year old daughter in beauty pageants,wearing more make-up than a Geisha and hair straight out of the 80's....or these over bearing Dads loosing his mind and yelling,screaming and berating his kid from the sidelines of a little league game for dropping the ball .Let them have fun most importantly.
