Nevermind I got it
Eh....he moves pretty well, he leaves his punches at the target waaaay too long.
I heard Big George is his trainer which I think is pretty good considering who George learned from: Sandy Saddler, Archie Moore, and Angelo Dundee. I figured George would be a very smart trainer #1 He learned a bunch from losing Ali #2 His defense in his comeback was pretty good #3 He knows all the mental aspects about boxing.
God his opponent was absolutely shit, my granny could fight better than that.

That was pretty cool, obviously not refined but with 8 months of training under your belt what do you expect.. T 1st glance from a distance he looks like his father with the trunks and height. Good luck to him, huge fan of his fathers and no reason at all not to cheer for his son![]()

1st round KO. 26 isn't too old for a HW considering they don't hit their prime until they reach their 30's. Has a ton of experience in his corner. If he has any of his father's ability he could be a legit force in the HW division. I'm calling it now, 2013 Year of George!
It feels good to be back home.

IMO he looked almost identical to his father, can't blame him with the quality or lack of quality in his opponent cause he hasn't had any amateur experience, but on that note can't really give him the green light and say he's a sure fire winner, i'm really starting to get interested in seeing how he does and develops, hope he does well and cleans up the division, would be awesome if both father and son end up being HW champs

Got some dangerously bad habits, leaving his hands out and lifting his back foot off the floor entirely when punching. Of course his dad had bad habits too, made them work to his advantage somehow (power) though.
You know, all in all the heavyweight division is moving in a positive direction.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
i really hope he does well but cant until he fights someone who has not just gone in there for beer money

Hope they dont give the kid too many of these types.Give the guy his apron back so he can bus his tables.
Did he even throw one punch ??Monk has nice activity.Just padding it up here.
He probably got better work in sparring....but then again debut fights are meant to be pretty easy, let him have 10-15 fights and we'll see how he does.
What if was the first person to KO Marion WilsonThat would be impressive

Hope he does well.Would be great name recognition in a long line of sons following fathers into it.We can only hope he has that power flare.
I think Papa Foreman will be a great over seer and will be honest with him as he goes on,good or bad.He wont want his son out there as a novelty act or being hurt.Good luck to em.

I actually thought he looked well for his first fight. Very relaxed and got his man out of there quick. Can't dislike that.
Yeah, your first couple of pro fights are more about YOU and less about your opponent. Monk should work on the basics and try and keep progressing vs nobodies for about 10-15 fights, and then we can see if he's ready for good journeymen.

If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
