Thought Chagaev gave Vlad some trouble when there was head movement, but he never threw anything when he did it. I think he threw once or twice and both times landed cleanly. Total borefest though as everyone has already said.

The commentating was awful as well, they kept saying how this fight was so much more entertaining than all his other fights. When I just kept seeing the same thing, jab....jab.... jab, right. Credit for Vlad dominating all these guys, but finish the damn show, take some risks, let your hands go

Wlad is tedious to watch, but he is seldom not in control of a fight these days. Chagaev was too cautious and had no answer for the jab. I thought Chagaev might have been able to take a round or two and make it interesting, but he didn't seem to have much coming back at all.

Chagaev has a fantastic chin on him really, but I think 2 years of injuries and relative inactivity have left a mark on him. Wlad was just too much for him. And as for Wlad, he looked technically very sound. If that was Haye in there, I think he would have been stopped a fair bit earlier. It was Chagaev's beard that kept him in there, and Haye doesn't have that kind of chin.

I don't think Haye's going to need to have a caste iron chin to beat wlad. Haye is explosive, powerful and elusive, the pawing jab that controlled chagaev will not work with Haye. Haye will be more elusive get inside quick and land a variety of punches. To which wlad will have no answer, apart from holding whenever he can. I thought it was a really poor showing from hi last night, I can't remember a more cautious, punch shy heavyweight champion. I really think Haye will give him a true beating, finishing him before the 7th.

Wlad tedious to watch?? I guess if you don't like watching very capable and compotent boxers at the highest level of the sport get totally dominated then I guess Wlad is guilty of doing that....he takes the fight out of his competition and I think that is what people dislike about him, rather than Wlad "going for the kill" he'll sit back and punish his opponent which obviously works for him 53 wins 47 KO's....that's hard to argue with.

I think Ruslan can still do stuff in the division, I just hope he doesn't retire like Sultan Ibragimov did. This version of Ruslan still would have beaten Valuev if not given him a very hard close fight...Wlad is just too talented, he does what he does and comes out with the win, usually a KO.

David Haye would have had NO CHANCE vs Wladimir...he was obviously very well prepared even for a replacement that was a southpaw. Hopefully, the Haye fans understand what this fight actually means instead of focusing on how "boring" or "tedious" Wlad is to watch, because it's going to be even more painful to see how Haye reacts to those punches.
