Tyson was more than just a brawler (early on anyway) and I wouldn't say that his opposition was much better than Wlad's... Wlad uses his superior size to basically fence with people until throwing out a cautious (if hard) right hand... Tyson wouldn't let them breath... they were inferior fighters to Tyson but the manor he dispatched of them is why Tyson is and would have still been a bigger name than Brock fucking Lesnar and why nobody really gives a damn about Wlad.

You know what lefty I hope your right. It would be great to see a fresh face in the heavyweights making waves. But I just do not think its going to be Haye unless he pulls a Sanders and goes for broke looking for the ko early. There is no way Haye is going to outbox either 1 of the Klitschkos. Haye should go after Valuev 1st.
Haye has even stated that is his plan numerous times. Haye doesn't mess around in there, he's in and out. He'll be looking to KO Wlad early and when he lands the monster Hayemaker shot its lights out for Bitchsko.
They all have a plan. Once that hammer jab hits them flush it usually changes.

Thing is though Haye has speed. He will move around the ring and not just stand there like most frauds against Wlad do. He will make Wlad think. You can't tell me Haye won't be able to land, cuz sooner or later he will.

For Haye's sake I'd think it would need to be sooner.

My main problem with Wlad is his propensity to get stuck in the same repetitive patterns, and his lack of killer instinct, and knowing how to finish a fight.

Now as has been stated, it's not his fault his opponents can't beat him; but he doesn't seem to evolve, imo, fight after fight. That jab he has, when used as a jab and not a lion cub pawing, is a beautiful thing and powerful. But fortunately for him no one is talented enough to go over that paw and make him pay.

It's just frustrating to see him do the same things over and over and no one can seem to learn how to deal with it after so long; though why fix something if it ain't broke I guess one could say.

He just comes across, to me, as someone who is scared. I hate saying this, it's so cliche, but he would have gotten buried by the 80's-90's heavies. I'm not saying I want to see him get beat; I like him, but I like to see a little more heart in there. That's why I always liked VItali better.

With that said he still gets the wins.

You just dont get it, I dont care how fast Haye is, Wlad is a master at using his height, the ring, and the left jab to stop people in their tracks. Wlad has fought fast fighters and he totally negates the advantage. Wlad has lightening quick reflexes. When Haye shoots in he is going to be met with a STIFF jab and either a hook off the jab or a straight right....Eventually it will be lights out for Haye.....

Haye is lucky he supposedly hurt himself (Wald still hasnt received any medical report), cause Wlad looked so relaxed in there they would have been taking Haye out on a stretcher.....

Wlad has'nt got lightening quick reflexes

He pushes his jab into his opponents face and uses his height and reach as a borderline !!

He is limited in his ability to disguise his shot selections and combinations and therefore can be read like a book!

He's been the Champ in a slump in the division and will certainly be schooled by a fighter who can fight move and punch!

up until the brewster fight klitschko was a different fighter

he didnt jab like he does and he didnt only throw the straight right, he threw a fuckload of punches, and alot of uppercuts, its not like he couldnt revert to that if he needed to...

but it wont be an issue, as i legitimately believe that klitschko could KO haye with a jab

Sal, I also remembering him throwing more variety of punches a few years ago, but he doesnt do it anymore. Ever. One-two is all. Oh and one-one-two....That last round when he had Chag on the ropes in trouble, he loaded up one the same jab-right hand over and over. It was very amateurish. I dont see him as the great technician that the commentators were making him out to be.

A true champ doesn't neglect to use his attributes to their fullest and win a safe and clean fight... they dominate and excite.

For somebody who just told me to read between the lines it's funny how you will look at things in black and white when it suits you.

So he can either win clean or win close? the manner in which he does it in means nothing to fans, casual and hardcore a like? Where are the shades of grey.

Like I said there's a reason that his Aura as a champ is none existant compared to a guy like Tyson or Jones.

Well think people are being harsh on the guy hes no Tyson, Ali or Holyfeild. But he is so effective that people pretty much cant touch him. I think Haye like Hatton will fail when he fights the tops guys because like Mayweather people hate Wald so much they think anyone can beat him. I dont like Wald that much but he wins ever time and we have a champion. Hes not a like a said before a Tyson, Ali or Holyfeild but hes not that bad i mean he clearing the division up not much else you can ask right.

I think he's very hard to beat...
The reason why people think anybody could have beaten him is because he is plays it very safe with guys he could easily put away.

Because anybody can be Tyson or Jones if they really wanted to right? Jesus christ. LOL. Those guys come around once in a lifetime. Wlad couldn't be them no matter how many risks he takes

Fuck... this is what I get for trying to use the manner of Tyson and Jone's devastating victories against inferior opposition as an example of what is does to a champions aura and to explain why Wlad should and could be doing the same against equally inferior opposition.

I wasn't fucking comparing him directly to Tyson or Jones you complete moron.

    Simply situations and outcomes.

It's my fault I suppose, I've tried using comparative examples with you a few times now and I need to get it that you're too slow to keep up.

Wlad is so one dimensional that any worthy opponent will work him out in 5 seconds..Jab right jab right jab right!!

Haye will box his fucking head off undoubtedly...he has the speed the intelligence, the versatility and the ability to be able to disguise his punches!!

And before anyone mentions his Chin...well Wlad has managed alright in a shit division with his
