consider what he said after the fight - essentially he'd like to punish Haye for 11 rounds and knock him out in the 12th.

You can show your dominance by ko'ing them in the 1st round you can also show your dominance by making them look stupid for 12 rounds

One version you might get away with by saying they got caught cold or it was a lucky punch, the other way you get humiliated round after round.

He has a much varied arsenal but peoples just can't adapt his jab and his right hand, why would he be silly enough to change a proven effective recipe? Why would the guy take any further risks when he mangles his opponents and when nobody ever found the key to these 2 punches?
Does some people over here silly enough to think that Emmanuel Stewart, one of the very best in the business only teach them 2 hits? course not, they practice loads of other punches but the strategy is simple: jab jab in the distance and piston them with the right, if they can adapt or find a solution, do X and Y, till them, just do that it works". It is silly to think that he can only do that and it is more than silly not to admit that boxers simply can,t adapt this style at the moment, which reflects how good he is. exciting? NO, but Lewis wasn't neither, but good? Damn sure.

Its hard to appreciate Wladimir Klitschko becuase he's hardly an entertainer and you would like to see some entertainment during a fight ay?

Some would say this is a Blood Sport not Ballet.

But that being said, Wladimir is one hell of a dominant fighter. Regardless of how controlled he is, you can't detract from his standing as a Champion. Absolutely Dominant.

I think the problem here is that Wladimir Klitschko is the ONLY talented he Heavyweight out there, wich is a real shame, but not he's fault. So i cant go hating on him. (Although it is perfectly acceptable to call him boring. The High perecntage K.O ratio is almost an insult )

Also, the phrase 'Career Defining Fight' springs to mind

He hasn't needed more than two punches.....not his fault why add risk or more wear and tear on your body because of the lack of your comp. I have a hard time watching these boring fights along with everyone else but i don't blame the guy, give him a reason to fight. I wouldn't even take off my street clothes for most of these guys, him warming up is more effort than he really needs to be putting out.

Why risk more wear and tear on his body

He's a fighter...and as a fighter he puts himself at Greater risk of injury the longer he is in the ring..thats just logic.

It actually makes much more sense to beast down on an opponent to get yourself the hell out of there a lot quicker..especilly against some of the Muppets he has fought, who could actually take heart by the lack of enthusiasm for the fight he shows'..What is he really going to do by throwing a few more punches and prolonging the attack in each round? BRUISE HIS KNUCKLES

For Wlad its not a case of LOW WORKRATE to lessen the risk of injury or wear and tear and more about not wanting to be hit...he has'nt the Heart for a War...so he only pushes his jab into an opponent as a spoiling tool..Pure and Simple!

mofo, could you please tell me what fighter ENJOYED getting hit

Wladimir is a dominant champion and probably won't be fully respected until he retires and leaves the division in flux.

I think Nicolay Valuev would open up Wladimir's offense, Tony Thompson kept Wlad busier than most opponents

I still don't know how Tony Thompson landed more punches than Wladimir that night yet won only 2 rounds maximum.

Prime Holyfield makes Wlad look silly. Today Wlad probably kills him.

Well to be honest I think it was the types of punches Tony landed, also the ring generalship aspect of scoring fights has to be taken into account....also it's a moot point as Wladimir knocked him out.

Prime Holyfield would have been kept at bay for a while but I think his beard and his workrate would bother anyone and that anyone includes Wlad. Evander did like getting on the inside and so far we haven't really seen anyone get there and stay there vs Wladimir....I know a Prime Holyfield could walk through big punches so I know he could get there but how he would get there I don't know.
