True but Khan wouldn't take the same amount of chances Ortiz did, wouldnt' exchange like that and wouldn't get hit like that.

Maidana should be the favorite though as there are rumors going around that Khan's chin might not be the sturdiest.
Rumors? That's pretty much a fact

And the guy had one eye and looked kind of bloated and doesn't really have the power at 135 and still managed to rock Khan. I think Khan was wobbling a bit at the end of the 2nd.
I don't know man, I think you're underestimating the importance of a good camp and overestimating this male bloating thing. MAB was cut sure but Khan was just too fast, he wins that one cut or no cut.

I agree Khan would have beaten MAB regardless,he's just to fast and hungry for him at the twilight of his career...but Amir always seems to be a decent connection away from being KO'd himself..

I just wonder wether he has the ability to absorb an opponents punches as he progresses through the Divisions!

To be honest though that fight against JMM, was 2 years ago and at a different weightclass. 2 years make a big difference, plus he didn't look that good in his two warm up fights prior to the Amir Khan fight. And he was cut bad in one of those fights aswell.

I don't think you can really tell how good Amir Khan, really was against MAB. He got cut badly in the opening seconds, and he had no chance to get into the fight.

Plus he was undersized and it was a mismatch size wise, the thing that worried me is that MAB was still able to shake up. Amir Khan with the punches he did land.

I think Amir Khan would of beat that MAB, even without Freddie Roach. It wasn't like MAB really had a chance with that cut, which really should of been a no-conest.

Amir Khan is still vunerable to hooks and looping shots as i said, and i still think he gets KO'ed when he meets a goodish fighter with a big punch. He has the skills but he's far too fragile.

If Maidana and Khan do fight I will bet everything I have that Maidana knocks the living shit out of Khan. Khan's china chin will break and have a massive shattering sound.

There is no way that will happen though Roach and Warren are shitting bricks just thinking of having Maidana in the ring with Khan.

this fight wont happen mainly because Maidana is a huge puncher. Khan will have to fight the rest of his career without fighting big punchers.

If this fight ever comes off, it would be nighty, night for Kahn in 3 rounds or less.

Im hardly the biggest khan mark but i dont think he`d have too many problems seeing off maidana.

Kotelnik struggled against him because of his awkward style but he was clearly on the night the better fighter. Khan will outbox kotelnik as he would maidana and he would just batter ortiz quicker than maidana did.

To talk of Khan battering anyone above domestic and dodgy european level strikes me as funny.

He battered Ortiz in the amatuers. He gave him 3 standing counts. He's well capable of battering plenty of decent level fighters. He's also capable of getting ko'd himself. To me that's a good thing. Makes him exciting. That's the reason i watch Boxing. So i'm happy.
