It sets a bad precedent imo and basically says it's ok to cheat, someone will be waiting for you if and when you get caught. I stopped believing in Margarito when he got caught; because I always believed him to be a fair fighter.

Either Tony knew about that stuff in his gloves and didn't care; or he was too stupid to pay attention, which is reckless. Tony was one of my fave current as well as all time fighters; but he shouldn't be allowed back in the ring. I don't care about his livelyhood because he didn't seem to care about the guys he faced off against and their well being, or the consequences it could have had on their families. Maybe he only did it that one time, or maybe for a long time. Either way he can starve to death for all I care.

It's obvious Roach is losing his mind. A great trainer; but I'm astonished e would put his name on the line to coddle a cheat.

Everyone accuses Margarito of having loaded gloves which is preposterous.
Ok he had a thin gauze insert which technically is illegal. After extensive testing in a lab all that was found on that insert was a harmless trace element of sulpher. Yeah sulpher is found in plaster but also in hand creme.
This is all they have against Margarito Not one person who examined the insert said it was in any way dangerous or harmful to his opponent. Nor was it much use as protection to Margarito's hands. At the most Margarito was guilty of a technicality which has been blown up out of all proportion
Where do you get "trace elements" from? They found calcium and sulphur powder, or plaster of paris premix.
Read the lab reports .. all they claim to have found were trace elements of sulpher. If it was calcium & sulpher it would have gone hard when wet It didnt & still hasnt LOL
