Joking in what way? Imo Donaire is hands down the most overatted boxer in the world today.

He's only ever fought a single world champ past or present in Darchinyan and on soley on the back of that win over two years ago he has climbed up to number 7 on the Ring p4p rankings purely because Vic went on to do well.

But anyone who watched the incredibly sloppy fight between Vic and Agbeko last week can have no doubt that Vid was never an elite fighter. He just happened to beat up on two other great overrated fighters in Mijares and Arce.

None of the flyweights are elite fighters. Donaire hasn't proved himself at all yet but people are fine with him being considered above the likes of Paul Williams, Kessler, Abraham, Pavlik, Chad Dawson etc on the p4p chart.

But what has he done? He beat ONE guy who wasn't even in the p4p top 20 went he beat him.

He's basically roller skated his way into the p4p rankings hanging of the back of Darchinyan's coat tails.

I only hope that now that Vic has been booted unceremoniously from the p4p club that Donaire will be shunted out with him.

I doubt it though, he will remain on the p4p list until he loses to an 11-1 rice grower with the name of Hang Po Winsnotalot or something who will then replace him as the latest and greatest little man to join the ranks of p4p.

Bilbo. I agree that PWill should be higher than Donaire. Dawson, Abraham, Pavlik, and Kessler shouldn't be in to 10 though. Obviously you don't see something special about Donaire that's why you see him as overrated fighter. Darchinyan is not even in his level.

It's not that I don't see anything special, its just he's not done anything to warrant a p4p spot.

I think Andre Ward, Andre Dirrell, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Kell Brook all look like potential elite fighters but they havn't proven themselves yet, although Andre Ward imo has already beaten better opposition than Donaire.

He may turn out to be a great great fighter, but he should have to earn his spot in the top 10.

Dawson has done so much more in his career, as has Paul Williams, Arthur Abraham and Kessler.

The consensus out there is that Donaire is not a top 10 p4p fighter. Minus the Darchinyan victory and what does his resume look like? It's not very impressive. And then you have this guy ranked above Paul Williams who's willing to fight anyone in 3 weight classes with a much superior resume.

It's hard to defend Donaire as being a top 10 p4p fighter.

don't hate him, he's just not everything he's being built up to be, i said it already a few times, but go ahead and look back, i said that if Khan didn't beat Kotelnik, and easily at that, he should hang it up cause he wasn't going to go anywhere, lets get serious, his "title" win is barely any better than Berto's, he beat a shot Barrera and barely at that, and now talking about taking on a shot Morales two divisions above his best weight, a weight he can't even make anymore, Khan can end up being a decent fighter but i was far from impressed from his win against Kotelnik, that said, those people complaining that all he did was hit gloves all night, he was at least throwing, Kotelnik did jack shit, but yea it is what it is, he beat IMO the weakest fighter in the top 10 at 140

Well look at Nonito Donaire, he beat one world champ who after the loss went on to do well before being dominated by an unknown last week and yet Nonito is the 7th best fighter in the world according to the Ring Magazine.

And Khan has already fought twice as many world champs as him
