What makes me laugh about Tex Cobb, is that he took the best that Ken Norton, Earnie Shavers, Larry Holmes. Had to offer without ever looking really hurt. Then he gets dropped 4 times by some journeyman Dee Collier, and is finished off in 1 round how the hell do you explain that

But after reading that article yeah, that Joe is one tough motherfukker to take daily or weekly beating from a young, ferocious Tyson. You know ICB; I always thought that guy who fought Tyson and lasted what was it, 6 rounds or so, was a tough sob. Think is name was Steve Zouski? He took some beating in that fight; thnk he was a coal miner from West Virginia?

I think it was either a case of too much punishment catching up with Cobb or too many beers.

but what about Bobby Chacon? The punishment he could absorb was unreal. Sure he's a smaller guy, but the shots he took from Arguello, Limon and Boza-Edwards That's my vote.
