I think they are both well on the otherside......shite,Lacy was never on the mount to begin with really? But I'm going with Lacy.At this point I think he's more sturdy, stronger, still hits well and Jones legs are stiff and solo stright rights wont get it.See him hung up on the ropes in a rough go of it in a battle of whos less shot.

That's what I've been thinking too. If Jeff can put Roy on the defense where he doesn't fight back he can grabs enough rounds to win it. Jeff can become non-competitive too in a perpetual state of blocking when someone's pressures him, although I don't see this version of Roy with his pot-shot work rate would do it.

I'm going with Lacy by KO about round 5 he hits hard and might catch Jones on the ropes methinks.

I'd like to see Jones win and retire though.

I don't know why all these people are picking Jeff Lacy, he hasn't had a good performance since Scott Pemberton. And he's been getting gift decisions against C+ fighters, plus he hasn't shown power since 2005 all his fights since 2005 have gone the distance.

Jeff Lacy is finished as a fighter, and even though RJJ is shot aswell. Atleast he has enough speed to suprise opponents, and he can still fight well off the ropes although his punch output is way too low. But i just can't see this going anyother way than a RJJ pot shot UD win.

If he can move for 12 that's my pick but I know he can't, I think a Lacy can catch him with a lucky punch and end it when Jones starts covering up on the ropes.

I see Jones looping and lurching his way to a points win. Not a laying to waste like Calzaghe dished out, just a respectable out manuvering of Lacy.

Still, Kel's is on to something...

    Hoping for a fun fight!

I just cannot get past Jones falling from a higher plateau and the reflexes are just not there.I think Lacy, who I was never big on,will be a very physical obstacle. One huge thing in the back of the mind is are these guys close??Friendship, training, the Florida factor lol? Some guys who are too familiar with one another have a way of 'going through the motions" once the punches start flying.Thinking that the realization that this is a last hoorah for each will prevent that, both should go all out.Warming to this one more and more

Despite not being as fast as he once was, Roy is still p4p one of the fastest guys in the sport, like Mosley he has maintained his speed very well. Calzaghe outworked JOnes, he didn't out speed Roy, and Calzaghe is one of the fastest guys in the sport, and before Roy got that cut which should have stopped the fight he won 3 of those 6-7 rounds, and only the third round wasn't competitive. After he couldn't see out of his left eye then it went more into Calzaghe's favor, and Roy still won the last round. I still say that if you put Roy in with anyone who isn't Glen Johnson or Joe Calzaghe that he has a good chance of winning the fight. He has adapted since Tarver, and I think he can beat guys people wouldn't expect like Pavlik and Dawson and Froch and Bute.

The perfect outcome for this fight would be a double knockout after they both throw left hooks. I said Roy by decision but it would not surprise me if Lacy kept the pressure on like Johnson did and ko Roy.

Roy sticks that right hand lead in Lacy's face all night. Roy is way past his prime and is nowhere near the fighter he once was, but it's still good enough to win a decision against Lacy.

OK THE LAST STAND, Lacy has already beat The Contender and The Next Great Champ, now he knocks out 24/7 star Roy Jones Jr. It's destiny. I'm hoping Roy Jones lays on the ropes and Lacy's shots wear on him. For old time's sake I'm going Lacy KO round 3.

Sadly i'm not sure it really matters who wins. Either guy can win just to wind up getting thier ass beat when they fight someone people really care about. I'll pick lacy like i put before i just feel more sorry for him than jones.
