While you want to post bullshit articles here are three:

Roy Jones Junior: Steroid Abuse - Boxing Forum

And again since you don't have any facts, but speculative bullshit Why keep the rumor going? jones is first ballot HOF and no one is going to support an argument that suggest otherwise..

So I guess ESPN only reports "speculative bullshit" if it's about your beloved Roy. Anyone who believes these supplement excuses is a fool. If it's "speculative bullshit" name one other athlete who's names come up in steroid talk who was proven NOT TO TAKE STEROIDS. The Carl Lewis story is a funny one. He tested positive twice but for obvious reasons the head of the US Olympic board or whatever at the time dint release them

It ain't my beloved Roy, it's your hated Roy. You don't have proof...period. ESPN, CNN, FOX, SKY, ABC, NBC, SETNA, whoever I don't care point is until the smoking gun is found who the hell are you to continue with the allegations? A fucking nobody going around trying to tarnish man for whatever motive you might have. Now I don't car either way if jones tested positive and was found guilty, stripped of titles then how can one argue? But since he wasn't, why the hell would I insist he was?

If you want to know what happens when you cheat in boxing? Ask James Toney, Margarito, Resto, And panama lewis...

Jones- lived up to his amateur expectences...Was a phenom at smw...went from MW to HW winning championships.....What detrtacts is Jones spent a lot of time fighting second tier challengers and turned down his toughest challenges during his prime years

Calzaghe- Joe has all the goods for sure and in the last years of his career he turned me into a big fan but he allowed Warren to manage him too long and linger with second tier opp....

Though there is no question on the place all 3 belong....3 of the top P4P of all time
I agree with you Daxx on all your points.

You can call him out anytime you'd like...but if he tested positive why wasn't the fight stripped..Like toney's against ruiz, like margarito being suspended, like panama being banned?

Shane mosley has his win over oscar because the victim says he believed shane to be innocent of knowingly cheating...so if the victim is cool with it why can't you be?

Because he cheated and it's bad for the sport to not punish someone when they've cheated regardless of how other parties involved feel.

IT was a small amount and was a result of an over the counter thing called Ripped Fuel. And I'm pretty sure Roy didn't know about it. And regardless of that he didn't need it to beat Richard Hall.

Richard Hall tested positive as well. But he wouldn't have been subjected to punishment because at the time it was the IBF that was testing Jones because he was the champion, and the WBA was where Richard Hall was ranked so he wasn't subjected to any punishment whatsoever since the IBF was the one making the call as Jones was their champion and the winner whereas Hall wasn't rated by their organization.

So case in point is that if Roy had tested positive on both the A sample and the B sample he would have gotten punished and Hall wouldn't, so both sides wouldn't have been punished equally anyway it would have ALL fallen on Jones. Which wouldn't have been fair either.

And why Roy wasn't stripped of his titles?

Here's why, because you give two tests an A sample and B sample. If the A sample is positive the B sample is sent to the commission to be tested, if it comes back positive your title is vacated. Roy's came back negative.

And he was required to give his samples in his next two fights, both of which came back negative as well. So it was as simple as Roy being informed Ripped Fuel had an illegal substance in it and Roy didn't use it anymore. Simple as that.

So can we quit with all the "he cheated he was steroid using" stuff?

If he did it was news to me because I see zero proof of him ever having an amateur record...or at least one to brag about like that one...

Unless it nis fact I pay little attention to things like amateur claims....Unless a fighter goes national champ or in Olympics it is hard to know what they actually did or did not achieve
In this interview he says he started boxing at seven and won his first title at nine.

Age started boxing: I started at seven as a youth. Then I went to Graterford (prison) for five years and I picked it back up in there. But (I started) as a pro in ‘88. So I started at seven.

Early Boxing Memory: Winning Pennsylvania Junior Olympics when I was nine. Won a trophy which had to be two-feet tall! When I won that I was the baby in the gym. We had guys like Robert Hines. I got my butt kicked 95% of the time in the gym by guys who were bigger and older than me. But I was too advanced for my level. I beat a guy named ‘Bunchie’ Williams, a good, good amateur who went 12-1 as a pro but then I think drugs got him.
    Bernard Hopkins | BoxingInsider.com

In prison he won the national penitentiary middleweight championship three times.

I'm not sure about his exact amateur record. Ive seen it reported at 95-4 too, but whatever it was Hopkins was clearly well versed in boxing before turning pro.

Hmm...Gotta say mate first I ever heard of him having such a record....I am taking it that he fought a bunch of local amatur shows and such..nothing on a USA, Ringside tourney level etc....

Even if you believe a supplement caused the test, explain how you put on 30 lbs in 4 mnths and retain your speed and conditioning naturally.

it actually was six months...and when you're a professional athlete who has nothing else to worry about except working out two to three times a day that's nothing. Not to mention jones went from 174 to 193...that's 19 pounds in six months. I once gained six pounds of muscle in one month with a job and no supplements just working out twice a day. So its easy when that's all you have to do with your time. Not to mention earning 10million

    1,Roy Jones

    2,B hop

3,Calzaghe and he only made 3rd because these are the 3 names you gave because from Eubank to Lacy he did basically nothing to write home about. He would have been beaten easy by both Hopkins and Jones had Calzaghe fought them at there best. He only just beat an old Hopkins and i think Hopkins won and i think Jones wanted a pay day and wasnt going to beat Calzaghe no matter what i think he was gunna let Calzaghe win.
