I could believe Roy could put on the weight but he'd have to lose speed and his aerobic conditioning which he didn't.  Aerobic conditioning? He didn't need it in the ruiz fight because he fought at his own pace. Not to mention Shilstone cut his road workouts during the preparation for that fight.
