I reckon they're trying to lull Floyd into being underprepared, no way would he come out with this before the fight like this. Beristain is too experienced to do that, he didn't come out talking about ODLH's weight difficulties did he??

I do think that Marquez will be a lot slower because of the weight, no matter how he put it on. I dint think his frame will carry 147 that well. Im hoping he comes in around 143.

I think Floyd gets beaten by JMM...he had a tough go with Jose Luis Castillo years ago and since then he hasn't fought any Mexican fighters who have their own little set of boxing tendencies. Also I doubt Floyd has ever had to lose weight like he's going to have to for this fight...it's 6-7 pounds more but that can be a big difference especially as age catches up with you.

Floyd is a smarter and better boxer than he was when that fight happened and he also had a messed up shoulder in that fight and won the rematch clearly.

I doubt losing weight will make a difference hes always in shape and is 32 while JMM is 36 and moving up to a weight class hes never fought in.
