I just wonder if any of them ( the physists) have done experiments such as yours concerning dead weight verses live weight?

I'm sure there's a pretty reasonable explanation for this, ie since all the blood has been pushed to your head and that most people don't stand perfectly straight the gravitational force acts like a torque, hence a small horizontal component is taken from the vertical causing the scales to miss calculate. But hell I have no idea, might have to give this a try.
