    yep

on a personal level i dont have race issues, dont wanna lynch gays, dont believe women should be forced back into the kitchen

just pissed off with how the UK is being run by someone who has no idea what he is doing and is best of being blairs lacky!!
To be fair, I don't know enough about how the UK is being run to have a valid opinion. However, I am completely opposed to everything I have read about that right-wing party that gained some votes last time out. I forget their name.

    British National Party

party full of race hating facists that would very much enjoy seeing blacks and whites completely segregated and the creation of ghetto type neighbourhoods.

Dont agree with their policys at all but people sick and tired of mass migration and unemployment are protest voting and BNP seems to be benefiting from that

Then again, I don't have anyone I know in Afghanistan, or have personally lost people as other Canadians in that fight, so I suppose it is subjective.
We..well the politicos mucked it up from jump off. I dont think the Bush administration and to a degree tha American public had the deep intention of truly doing what it would take and the patience to do it to render them impotent. The emotions and fury after 9/11 was manipulated and they pulled a fast one going into Iraq. The Military had its hands tied behind their backs, used as props and sent out to win 'hearts and minds'....sound familiar......rather than being let off the chain and taking the initiative.Know thats not a world wide view but you cannot have it both ways, its proving obvious. The scenario is becoming a mirror of Vietnam in many ways.Thought we would have learned fron the Soviet invasion, not to mention how our support and funding helped produce the ones we are now fighting. The catch 22 of fighting an entrenched force blended with civilians, trying to win it from the sky at points and an aversion to committing boots on the ground....knowing that more would not come home.It really is a fooked up situation which is coming home to roost right now.Canadians,Brits and Americans have increasing casualties not to mention the countless civilian casualties just trying to live day to day.The days of massed forces all wearing different uniforms, lining up in climes with a defined front line are looooong gone.....Its been 8 + years though, think the barn door is wide open and the situation has morphed into a hydra.

Take the gloves off, commit what is needed, tell Musharif (?) of Pakistan to piss off and stop the slow bleed, hit the Taliban leaders where we know they are..............or just cut the shite & bring them all home!!Honestly dont know if their is a 'winning' scenario...especially militarily. But we are knee deep in it now.Thats a fact.

You voted for them!!! I'm sorry, you say you have no race issues & then vote for as you call them 'race hating fascists'. A protest vote could have gone anywhere else, there's dozens of parties, hell even UKIP are better.

I can't take anyone seriously who votes for a political party that tells me that the country that I love & am proud of is not my home. That basically I & a lot of my family need to fuck off back to whatever wog country we came from.

People in my family have died serving this country & the fact people who call themselves patriots vote for a group run by Nazi supporters disgusts every part of me.

A lot of their agenda is based upon fear and hate. Particularly regarding immigrants and non-whites. It is a foul organisation and no person should associate with that kind of thing.

I believe that immigration needs to be monitored and controlled, but in no way could I ever advocate hate based on race.

We have a group like the BNP in Korea, except their modus operandi is to hate on white English teachers. They aren't a political party but they have over 17,000 members and have clearly influenced government policy regarding native speakers. New teachers not only have to provide a criminal check but also a drug check and an HIV check in order to "protect the children" despite no children ever being harmed here by native speakers. The Koreans on the other hand do harm the children and yet they don't get checked. The groups leader is even called Chairman Lee by the ministry of justice. What's more the media listens to every distorted thing they say and so even in the mainstream media we are portrayed as drug addicted seductors of Korean women. Investigations show that most of these stories are made up as the native speaker involved never has a name nor even a criminal record. The stories are often unverifiable.

This group is the most popular searched group on Korea's Naver cafe, so a lot of people are reading this hate propaganda. One human rights laywyer (native speaker) has filed a 70 plus page dossier on why this group should be investigated as a hate group and filed it with the human rights commision. It's a great piece of research, but with the group working within the government too I have a hard time seeing it make an impact.

Groups like this make me so mad. I'm a decent guy, happily married, am highly educated and work hard. And yet this godawful piece of work would like to lump all foreigners as the same AIDS ridden, debauched lowlives that they would like us to be. Any person involved in or advocating a hate group should take a long hard look at themselves before ever trying to target others based on the colour of their skin. It's cowardly and base.

I believe in stiff punishment for some crimes. I've always heard libertarianism referred to as a right-wing ideology; now I'm not a libertarian, but I believe people should pretty much be able to do what they want in their private lives (ie legalization/decriminalization of drugs etc.).

Edit: I'm also against a stong, centralized government. That's something I've always associated with the American right-wing, so I guess that could be considered a right-wing belief as well, though it seems to run counter to most right-wingers opinions.

That seems pretty libertarian to me. Which I think is the "best" way to go in many aspects. But all systems are flawed and corruptible, because all systems are run by people.

I think the government should have control over companies and get rid of the gluttonous wealth that individual people to possess enough wealth and power to and then afford lobbyists to control the government, at least in aspects that benefit them. But that's exactly why it will never happen, because by nature those with wealth want to protect and maintain that wealth.

But that's where a governments power should stop. Probably about 1 cent out of every tax dollar that goes into the government ever comes out doing what it was "intended" for. The other $0.99 rest up funneled out through various channels of waste, bureaucracy, and corruption.

The US is pretty much influenced by special interest groups that don't represent the average citizen. Politicians are influenced by the special interests/lobbyists or else they don't get re-elected or votes.

In my opinion, speaking on America only, most voters are pretty ignorant and don't realize that for whatever they vote for they are just perpetuating the system already in place.

    That's why I don't vote
