ive been reading alot around the boxing world about the super six. and theres alot of hate for carl froch, too be honest i have fell in love with the bloke,(no im not gay) i love his confidence. yeah hes not the best boxer in the world but the mans a power house with alot of heart and balls to match, i had him a round ahead against direll only really cause he pressed the fight and direll was very negative, anyway i think we should give the man alot more credit than hes getting, hell fight anyone anywhere any time, isnt he the type of fighter boxing needs. ?

Lets see. A dirty, limited fighter who loses fights but manages to get the win cuz he's in his hometown and the judges are in his pocket. He's the last thing Boxing needs.

well i'm no fanboy and i agree with everything VD said, Froch didn't do anything impressive on Saturday

He should have been on Dirrell from the off. There was too much sitting back for the first few rounds and not enough from Froch in the final couple. He could have made it a really rough fight earlier and made the win with less room for controversy.

Thats the gist of it for me.Im always wearly of that think,it suggest that Froch could have been more effective and somewhat discounts what Dirrell was doing,his gamelplan.Fighter A makes fighter B that way,he did not choose it.? I just think there was alot more Froch could have done,and he hesitated,waited and,went WWE & almost excepted reacting all night.He was not going to out slick,out box Dirrell and he knew it.

I cant understand the hatred of Froch here, i really dont. The guy is of limited boxing ability and has only recently started to mix with the world championship class but at least hes having a go. If he gets the decision from the judges then fair play to him,its not his fault what way 3 guys call it,although personally i thought it could have went either way.Ok, he can bang a bit but thats about all hes got going so i think people should cut him a bit of slack. Im not suggesting hes any better than Calzaghe but at least hes prepared to fight the big guns right from the start of his championship reign, which is more than JC ever done. Plus hes not frightened to travel to fight. One things for sure, hes got a pair of balls on him. Just seen the Abraham-Taylor fight. Felt sorry for Taylor but what a right-hand. I think Taylor should pack it in right away before he gets hurt anymore, and the stand-by should be given a chance

No he wouldn't. Carl Froch isn't the kind of fighter boxing needs. He lost against Dirrell plain & simple, you don't win fights by walking forward, if that was the case Librado Andrade would be P4P #1. He's the biggest arsehole in the sport. I respect & like arrogant fighters who back it up, but he doesn't & then completely disrespects his opponent after he got a hometown decision. Having taken in a number of things he's said ranging from his power, his p4p status, his atg status & his own looks, I can only conclude he's completely delusional
