interview got nasty in the end and he basically called all of floyd's opponents pussies. he should drop that fake accent too.

    both made fools outta themselves.

agreed, and the whole "i know the history" crap, you don't know shit dude stick to being a "thug" on the radio, cause you've just manage to make someone seem a bit more thick in the head than Mayweather himself

Haha, they told that RA the Ruggaman (from the decidedly ghetto Suffolk County ) that he was eloquent. Seriously, I can't stand these wannabe gangsta personalities from middle-class backgrounds who seem to pervade rap now. But, shit if they're gonna degrade hip-hop, at least can they stay the fuck out of talking about boxing. Don't they realize it's a 'contradixun' to lecture boxers on how to be tough??

I'm only two minutes in but it is pretty hilarious, Floyd is stammering like a motherfucker, to be fair dude kind of ambushed him you can tell Floyd thought it was going to be a a kind of fun and games interview and then right off the bat with the why don't you fight a top two guy at your size.

Random observation, no way in hell Floyd made 8 million dollars to fight Sharmba Mitchell, I'm sorry that just can't possibly be true.

Now I'm more than 2 minutes in. To be fair, this guy is a lot more in tune to boxing than I would expect him to be and talking about him not knowing anything about boxing, LOL. Guy's points sometimes are iffy cause he doesn't like Floyd but he knew a surprising amount about boxing. Knows Paul Williams, knew how many KO's Archie Moore had (well in the ballpark), knows Ricardo Lopez, Brian Fucking Neilson (Floyd didn't even know him ), Willie Pep. Knew exactly when Pacquaio had been stopped, etc. That guy actually sounded like a boxing fan that was fairly knowledgable, I was a bit shocked really. Saying something like JMM moved up 17 pounds is wrong but probably based a bit on JMM having his bigger fights at jr. lightweight. The guy made some questionable points but he knew a lot more about boxing than you're normal American.

To be fair I totally get Mayweather fans getting upset about him not accepting that Mayweather's also moved up. Also PBF has fought a lot better fighters than Williams so excusing away the Quinbaldomir loss by saying that's what happens when you fight good fighters is a bit iffy.

But the JMM fight was a propaganda piece and he hasn't fought anybody on the level of Calzaghe, well ever.

Floyd douchebagmeter: Boxing will be dead when I leave, geezus. Talking about SRL losing to Hector Camacho when he was decrepit.

Ahaha dude used the big ass gloves line talking aout the Zab, that was Sal The Butcher, it had to have been.

R.A. the Rugged Man - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ha, dude's a rapper that is writing a book about boxing

Kind of random but I don't know if Suffolk County is middle or upper class or what, Long Island's a bit odd. I spent some time up there one summer with some family. Its real rich in spots, poor in spots, actually Queens is on Long Island. Bit of an odd place really, super rich in some areas.

Just because the guy was off in some areas, don't mean he didn't call a spade a spade.

Floyd has been campaigning as a Welter weight for nearly 5 years and has yet to face a true Welter. lol Ring Mag has floyd listed as the number two

I was off for two years. (By choice waiting for all the welters to destroy each other like I predicted)
Shut up, it was 18 months. Hopkins does it all the time standing on his head and he is nearly 45

I am my own promoter, I am my own boss.
    Why don't you fight Mosley?
That is not up to me to decide. lol

Bob Arum wont do business with me.
Arum Offers 8 million to fight Margarito and Floyd turns it down to fight a man who had no business being called a lineal champ.

    I fought Zab Judah!
    After he lost to Baldomir.
Way to go tough guy, you really put your balls on the table with that move.

    You have 35 fights (40)
Archie Moore has 135 knock outs! (131)

This dude was owning Floyd left and right, front and center.

So this year, two white white boy rappers have made floyd look like an idiot.

Word to Floyd, stay away from white rappers

And BTW Rugged was there to promote his album and he had no idea they would be talking to Floyd.

I am just glad it was some one who would not be on the phone sucking on Floyd's stick for twenty minutes. The man told Floyd what he needed to hear. Take heed my brother, go for the legacy.
    Legacy don't pay the bills.
    You are rich already.
    Go for LEGACY!

Those were sound words of advice.

I actually thought he put Floyd in his place for the most part during the interview albeit Floyd was ambushed.

RA the Rugged Man and the like aren't ruining hip hop by any means if anything it's the opposite. Why can't you stand emcees from middle class backgrounds? Some of the best hip hop ever was made by emcees with middle class backgrounds (See De La Soul who are from the same area as RA the Rugged Man).
