I'm sure if an interviewer spoke like that to any actor, other sports star, politician or celebrity they would have been hung up on within minutes and probably sued.

Floyd kept the banter going for 20 minutes and argued his corner despite being called a 'fucking pussy' etc.

I am officially a Floyd Mayweather fan, the guy is a legend in my book, how do you think Ricky Hatton would respond if giving an interview he was told he was a fat overated prick who embarrassed himself against Manny Paquaio and Floyd Mayweather?
Such disrespect or such truth?

More interviewers should ask the same types of questions as far as I'm concerned. Floyd deserves to be disrespected, because he is full of shit.

He lied his way through half of that interview and looked stupid. I see little to be supportive about. The guy is a phoney who only wants easy rides.
I agree that Floyd deserves to be disrespected. Seems like everyone is picking on Floyd, from this fake gangster rapper or whatever he is to Hopkins and Mosley. Floyd is always dissing people and he is just getting a taste of his own medicine. Clearly Floyd would rather fight a lesser opponent for millions than a more difficult one. He has proven that time and again. I know they are all motivated by money, the Manny's, the Mosley's, etc., but clearly Floyd does not care one inch for the fans and that is why he will never be a beloved boxer on a personal level. I am sure he will fight Mosley or Manny if he is given the lions share, and based on his opponents, does he really deserve it? I don't think so.
He's the most fan friendly boxer currently fighting today, at least as far as revenue goes.

Who else provides entertainment like Floyd Mayweather? Just watch compare his 24/7 shows to the ones without him in them, they arn't even worth watching imo.

Everything he does and his persona is to create excitiment for the fans anf get them to want to watch the fights.

Anybody who has ever been to a Floyd press conference on here are all unanimous in their praise for Floyd's interaction with the fans.

Look at the Hatton Floyd pre fight build up. Whilst Ricky was making it really personal, with wanker gestures directed at Floyd, Floyd carried out his role as the bad guy with aplomb, hyping the fans up, giving them everything they wanted of him.

He's an entertainer.

He's number 1 so will obviously always be a target but there is nobody else in the sport right now at the top of their game that comes close to bringing the excitiment and atmosphere that Floyd does.
