I'm hoping we try and bring in Cowher, Holgrem, or Shanahan either of those guys and we will be headed in the right direction.
If COwher decides to get back to the NFL, expect to have hard working team with a clock master at its head. That would be definitely a very good start. Apparently, Mark Trestman who's coaching in the CFL at the moment for the Montreal Alouettes is among the potential candidates for the job.
Cowher is my top choice but I would take any of the three I mentioned. I guess Shanahan is coming in for a visit next week hes a proven winner also.

I did here Alouettes is up for consideration also, nothing against the guy but I want a proven winner in as our head coach.

If Cowher comes back whatever team he goes to will have to cough up a piece of ownership. He's not settling for just a paycheck.

Trestman just gave the Montreal Als some of the 2 best seasons they ever had, sent them to the championship last year and this year as well, he's good but I can understand that CFL and NFL are two very different things and I can see why you would prefer somebody with the experience of the league already.

I heard something similar except it wasn't ownership but he wants GM duties as well as coaching, pretty much giving him a blank check on what he wants to do with the franchise. I would be totally for it in Buffalo.

yes except most of the time coaches when they start thinking they know how to do other things like GM duties then they start declining and the whole organization suffers. Giving cowher just blank power would be a big mistake but then again things in buffalo can not get a lot worse.

Exactly at this point and time I'm ready to do just about anything, sick loosing man. Bill Parcels seems to be doing a good job as a GM now in Miami.

Yes but hes not the coach down there, just the gm...I'm not saying coaches can't be good gms I'm just saying they tend not to when they try and do both jobs at the same time.

I have been shocked and dumbfounded today....our local supermarket did not only lack pumpkin pie, it also had no pumpkin pie filling either. What am I going to eat during the triple-header beer-fest?

I'll tell you what, pecan pie..they had that. Got some boys coming round for a thanksgiving-ish dinner and footba-wl and a beer or ten.
