Dude, how did Ricky Hatton look in his first fight at welterweight? What's the only other time he strayed north of 140? ...and yes Manny fought a corpse ODLH, Roach told him to jusmp on him seeing the IV marks in his arms... They were rehydrating him in the dressing room.
I just told you why I'm not surprised. He wants to be the bigger guy, like he has been for the past few years. What more do you need? Remember way back... long ago when Floyd fought Marquez? Yeah... No weight controvercy there. You're right.
Your talking utter nonsense in this thread man. The fact that Hatton didn't look good at welterweight has nothing to do with the fact that he is a smaller man than Floyd, naturally, he isn't. Floyd has altered his fighting style to suit the move up in weight, because he posseses the physical tools and skillset to do so. Watch him at 130, he could bang with anyone and unleash hurtful combinations, now he strictly throws one punch at a time and potshots his opponents, partly due to fragile hands I'm sure. Also, the fact that Hatton looked bad against Collazo might have had something to do with the fact that he is a sitting duck for the right hook and it was the first world class southpaw he had ever faced, and his slickest opponent to date by FAR. Marquez is the ONLY opponent Floyd has faced in recent years who is in fact naturally a smaller man than he is. And how on earth did he "know" DLH was used up

? He wasn't for christs sake, Oscar gave him a very competitive fight and still had plenty left at 154 pounds at that point.
