As for Cotto, would this help his mental state to climb back through the ropes for another tilt at a title if it were proved to be the case
interesting how? what has Cotto been unlucky with lol

magarito beat the shit out of him, even if he did have hand wraps on that wasnt what beat cotto, what beat him was the simple fact that he was to stupid to change his fight, maga took ecerything cotto could throw and cotto as always tired and this time quit, was NOTHING to do with maga's hands at all lol whata fucking joke to bring that up.

and as for pac, again cotto couldn't change or been focused enough to win that fight. when he boxed he was winning, but he tried ot tade and was to slow, didn't learn from it and got fucked up

unlcuky my ass, fucking lucky is more like it he got to where he is now be fighitng and getting a rep from beating overrated fighter... look ad paulie, people give him props and an ok hatton beat the shit out of him... torres give him hell and he is fuck all...

his only good win was against shane and shane was screwed for stamina after a few rounds (a fight i thought was a draw anyhow)

I first saw it on a NHL (hockey) forum and posted it in a Calzaghe thread, but it's popped up several times since then.

Cotto is unlucky that he wasn't born an elite fighter like Pac and Sugar Shane.

Against Mosely was by far he best performance and he didn't put Mosely away (it was a close affair). Hell a Margarito that destroyed Cotto --was then destroyed by Sugar Shane (I'm not sure Sugar Shane was hit in that fight).

Actually Cotto has been very lucky in that he has gotten alot of chances to prove himself and failed. First it was at 140 he was weight drained (his stamina issues are still present), then it was Margaritos fault (which wasn't ever proved), to getting his ass whipped by a "juicing" Pac man. Give me a break. Sometimes you have to chalk it up to he was the lesser man.

He wears his pants low to arouse all his fans. And it works because they are delusional about his abilities and his great personality.

who ever has.... shane is an elite fighter, he hasnt been stopped against bigger men at 154lb, so cotto shouldnt be expected to

    and for the margarito thing

first off, the cotto fight may have took a lot out of him, i dont care how you wanna look at it he took a lot of hard flush shots that fight that have to have an effect somewere down the line

and styles make fights ... triangle theorys dont work as proved dozens of times... 3 times by mosley himself infact

He still isn't elite. Triangle theory or not. He lost the Margarito fight because he did the Hatton/Cobb defense (catching shots with his face).

i dont remember margarito landing anything really meaningful till around the 5th,6th round when cotto started to tire.... if you call this defending with his face.... i guess pernell whitakers defence is just average right ?
