yep KT shot was ok, Hattons was deliberate and he should have lost a point, but then if the ref let him wrestle all night he wasn't gonna take a point for deliberate low blows either
Behave, obviously you didn't watch that fight.

you dont get on here much nowadays mate do you

Wow... Really?! That bad?! Okay, my You-Bet challenge will be to spot one low blow

Round 1: Ricky Hatton Shot to the back of the head 01:30 in, followed by a shot to the kidneys 10 seconds later, no low blows.
Round 2: Plenty of Waltzing, wrestling & Holding but nothing illegal
Round 3: 20 seconds in, WTF is that?! haha. Ricky Hatton Low blow exactly 2 minutes in.
Round 4: A slight back of the head job by Tzsyu near the end.
Round 5: Left round the back by Hatton with 17 seconds left.
Round 6: Hitting & Holding by Hatton 10 seconds in... 01:25 in Back of the head again by Hatton. Tzsyu buzzes Hatton with 20 seconds left... Never noticed that before.
Round 7: Hahaha! I forgot that he actually went down from that. Great shot, smack bang on the belt.

Round 8: 35 seconds in Tzsyu shoe shines Hattons waistband for him. 40 seconds left, thanks for coming.
Round 9: Okay, fuck the commentator, you tell me how many of these actually landed low...
YouTube - Funniest Boxing Incident of 2005 (Ricky Hatton's Low Blow)
Round 10: Nothing foul of note. Good round actually.
Round 11: Both go for back of the head 01:35 seconds in to the round. Kostya again with 35 seconds left. 5 seconds later Hatton hitting & holding. 8 seconds left, Hatton pins Tszyu's head down and goes to the body.

After re-watching this fight, i absolutely retract ALL comments made regarding the Mayweather fight. This was shockingly poor.

In regards to hattonthehammer: Fuck you for making me waste 3 hours of my life that i shall never get back I'm officially against all things Hatton.

The neutrals would remember Calzaghe's epic windmill combos over Hopkins clean hard punches.
You mean Hopkins one clean hard punch (well maybe 3)

The polls showed a landslide victory for Calzaghe. No neutrals thought Hopkins won that fight (well maybe two or three)
Still more than what Joe landed.

The polls favored Calzaghe, i'm fully aware of that. It doesn't mean it wasn't close.

Look at the recent Pacquiao/Marquez 2 thread here on saddos. That was a close fight but the majority so far had Marquez winning.

And while i'm on one... Would you care to tell me exactly how many Castillo body shots (the one's that were clearly causing the troll some distress) you'd like to consider low also?

Hatton goes to the body because he knows it's a motherf****r. He don't like being hit there

True. The real reason Ricky became a bodypuncher was because when he was a young amateur, he sparred with Pat Barrett who dropped Rick with a bodyshot that he couldnt even get up from. As of that day, he realised the importance of that weapon and honed his style accordingly.
Some people say boxing is a matter of life or death, it's not, it's far more important than that.

That's 1 - 3 more clean punches than Calzaghe landed.

I've seen the fight twice since it air and both times I score it for Hopkins by a point. Calzaghe landed nothing of consequence all night long.

And for the record I am a much bigger fan of Calzaghe than I am of Hopkins.

Hopkins fought to the best of his ability, he even had to pull a few stunts out the bag like crawling round on the floor and screaming like a 2 year old girl

Joe fought messy but as the rounds went on he got better, a rematch would have confirmed Joes superiority

No doubt. He would have won far more convincingly. Hopkins has only one trick when it comes to a fighter like Calzaghe and Calzaghe had him worked out by the half way mark. It would have been a boring fight again though.

Like I've said on previous thread I have my own opinion. There didn't used to be so many sheep on here.

And of course a fighter who's only ever been beaten by the 2 best pound for pound fighters on the planet (one of which who is possibly a juicer) was (he should stay retired) average.....

On the subject of hopkins calzaghe, I thought joe won but IMO it was a very close fight.
