I think the issue of the judges, as suspect as it may seem, will be of no consequence.

The way these two match up, I think Abraham is gonna struggle to engage, let alone land. So for me a KO is Abraham's only option anyway.

I kinda hope Abraham he does flatten Dirrel. From what I saw in the Froch fight, I am not fond of his style at all.

    Im of similar opinion

For the very 1st time in his career AA may just face the difficulty of having to chase his opponent on the front foot. Dirrell aint stupid, he`ll be in and out as quick as can be and although he`ll probably be taking the harder shots each time his hand speed and punch volume will appear to of won him those encounters.

Abraham may just have to walk on to a dirrell counter in order to get his shots off and in order to win this fight has to have a gameplan of fighting on the front foot.

If he is behind come 8-9, to hell with the peekaboo stance, AA is stronger and will throw the more clinical punches, walk his man down and dont be afraid to get your shots off!!

I think Abraham is much more technical and much quicker than Froch, so certainly has the ability to carry out what was a good Froch game plan, and that was to catch Dirrell with a hook while he was pullin off that rope sliding shit.... His calculated pressure will catch Dirrell sooner or later. I'd expect running and serious holding on the inside from Dirrell when ever its called upon. So i'd be looking for the judges not to matter with Dirrell flat on his back.

I predict an absolutely shit fight to watch. Dirrell will run even more than the Froch fight and Abraham won't be fast enough to catch him. After watching twelve dull rounds of running spoiling and holding we'll have to watch Dirrell get a dodgy decision. At least Maidana is fighting on the same night so there should be an entertaining fight to watch. There are fights on this weekend from Venezuela, Japan and Thailand I think so hopefully some good fights to watch on streams. Back to this fight, I really hope Abraham sparks him.

Who cares where the judges are from....not like abraham hasn't had home cooking in his career, especially in the first miranda fight. The judges could be dirells mother, grandmother, and pastor and he'll still probably loose. I've seen horrible decisions given by guys with no link to the fighter at all. If abraham is worried then don't leave it up to the judges, none of them will even get to throw a punch on saturday.

No-no-no, you have it all wrong. Dirrell is from Flint. That's like an hour away from Detroit.

Dirrell will win this by decision.

Experts overwhelmingly pick Abraham to beat Dirrell even in Michigan with three hometown judges:

Absolute joke this, Abraham is being fucked up the arse royally here.
My statement would be the exact same if it happened in Tanzania, UK, Germany or anywhere. Don't pull that poor me Europe/UK shit either, it's gotten old.
I am not talking about you personally but as a whole we over here have a far worst rep for this sort of shit which is unfair.

Not really we never here the end of the " Dave Paris won Hatton the Kosta fight " on here, I think it's pretty safe to say Europe/UK has a worst rep than the Usa for this sort of thing which is very bias, Fenster did a thread about robberies in Europe/Usa a while back.

Guarantee if this was the case if Froch was fighting Dirrell in Nottingham and all three judges were from Nottingham aswell as the ref the abuse Froch would get would be off the scale.
Hey and the poms havent whinged about Cortez in the hatton/mayweather fight? Most of the time when an aussie fights overseas we get stuck with all american judges and most of the time they are fighting americans, just the way it goes. If your fighting in a different country to your own then it wont matter what city your in because if the judges are going to be biased because your not from that city and opponent is then they will be biased in any other state coz your not from the country. The city thing only comes into play if you have two domestic fighters and your fighting in the other fighters home town with 3 hometown judges.

Experts should have quotation marks. Fact.

They were probably asked before the scandalous decision about the officials was known. Anyway, considering the "experts" are all American, they probably wont have batted an eyelid

The judging controversy is over now, all accepted by both fighters, here is the list.

The referee will be Laurence Cole - (Texas)
Judges are Anek Hontoncan - (Thailand)
    Guido Cavalleri - (Italy)
    Frank Garza - (Michigan)

The Abraham camp has accepted the respected Garza from Michigan so this should end all the b*tching about the officials.

I don't think the judges will make a difference. Dirrell can't run for 12 rounds. Eventually AA will catch him and knock him out.
