Maybe they used to? Maybe they just engrave it after you relinquish it? or lose it?

The WBO is engraved..

That makes sense. You know, I even looked up the Spinks(Michael and Leon's) Olympic runs after seeing the medal in front of the IBF belt in the shop thinking that could shed some light on it but they were in the Olympics in the 70s and that's an '84 medal.

Yeah I did the same thing...But only Cory because I could not remember if he had or had not been an olympian...He wasn't just an amateur nationalist
