From what I recall, Kotelnik fought a very defensive fight which allowed him to negate Maidana's main advantage and just basically tried to outbox him.. I saw it a long time ago, but I seem to remember Kotelnik using movement, defense, and a solid jab to beat Maidana. However, it was a very close fight and most people seem to feel Maidana won and I could be wrong in regards to the way I remember the fight.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I had the Maidana/Kotelnik fight a draw. I think Bradley will beat him with nice counters, but I wouldn't be surprised if Maidana drops him. This is a great fight. With the way he fights & who he chooses as opponents, Bradley makes it hard to dislike him. Thank god for that stupid pornstar mustache, his insistence of bringing up Jesus and the fact he whines on about how the world is against him whenever I read his interviews.
He's got more boxing skills though. He'll be able to do enough offensively to keep Maidana off him. I think. Although maybe Maidana is just going to bulldoze his way face first through the entire division.
If he does beat Bradley I actually hope he does keep going so he has to fight Khan.
This is a good thing, I really didn't have all that much interest in the other fight with Abregu. Maidana is going to do his thing as long as he's in there, he can be hit but he isn't hard to hit. Still, there's always the chance that Bradley stands in front trying to add one more shot and allows Maidana the chance to load up. IMO the best way to beat Maidana is to limit yourself to being a selective one or two shot puncher like Kotelnik rather then try to blow him away with combinations like Ortiz did. Bradley has shown that he's become one of the best combination punchers in boxing lately but he might be better served on focusing more on negating Maidana.
Nice to see Bradley doing what Khan cant do. Will be a hell of a fight, big probs to Bradley for taking on challenge after challenge.
Bradly wins this one after some rough moments...
I like this kid...he is serious and no fly by nighter...his resume over his last 5 fights has been
Junior Witter
Edner Cherry
Kendall Holt
Nate Campbell
LaMont Peterson
Not a walkover in the group...
Now Maidana,,,,
Maidana has top notch power but he often does not imply it properly....Bradly will capitalize on it all night
apparently the fight has been postponed, Maidana injured his back, but still wants the fight
