Lucian Bute grow some balls ? he couldn't join the Super Six tournament thats well documented. And also because he had unfinished business vs Librado Andrade. And plus because they needed another American fighter in the tournament.

Lastly how the hell is Librado Andrade a Middleweight ? he's a big Super Middleweight and could easily be a Light Heavyweight, he's never been a Middleweight.

And your boy Carl Froch was handed a gift, when he was atleast beat by 3 rounds by Andre Dirrell. He will be found out soon.
Aplogies man, gettin my shit mixed trying to type quick at work so no one clocks me doin it.

Hell, Froch is certainly not my boy. Don't be getting confused here, i'm no pom pom carrier for Froch. He's slow and quite unco-ordinated at times, and yes he will be found out no doubt, but not by Kessler and certainly not in an easy manner by any of the other tournament fighters, and definately not Bute. If Bute is as good as suggested, I don't care what plan he had, he should have wanted to be in the Super Six, to turn down such an opportunity, 3 big fights and the possibility of proving your the best, just for a fight with Andrade and then Miranda. No way.
He couldn't be in the Super Six im sure Killersheep will explain to you, there was actual reason's he couldn't be in it. Plus they needed a American fighter, and also its the best thing for Lucian Bute he didn't go in it. Because he beat Librado Andrade in good fashion in the rematch, now a fight between him and the Super Six winner will be huge.

I'm totally gonna bump this after the S6.

Andrade had bute down on his ass for 30 seconds before the ref finally started counting, by the time the bell had gone bute had been down for almost a minute

care to explain to me how that can compare in any manner to froch-dirrell??
    30 seconds? really? FAIL

Dirrell beat Froch period. The whole justification for Froch winning was "he was coming forward" He wasn't landing shit, he wasn't throwing shit, he hadn't a clue of what to do. As long as he was walking forward though he grabs the cards. I think Fenster put it best when he stated that the judges say Dirrell falling all over the place and probably held it against him even though he was clearly winning the rounds.

carl froch spent 36minutes walking towards andre dirrell with his fists ready to fly. Dirrell spent 36minutes doing a running/falling over double act. Froch is the champion, and its in his home country. How the hell do you expect to get a decision??

Dirrell wanted no part of froch, the better fighter won

    9) He came from a really rough upbringing too, they actually made him go to public school. He had to protect his bike often.

Andrade had Bute out on his feet and beaten but was robbed of a win and a world title by shady hometown officiating.

Dirrell outboxed & eventually outslugged Froch by a wide margin but was robbed of a win and a world title by shady hometown officiating.
But Jaz the point is the round was already over, when Lucian Bute went down. All he had to do was beat the count, and respond to the ref. Its the actions of the stupid ref, telling Librado Andrade to go in the neutral corner.

Which added to the controversy, which wasn't needed. Because if that hadn't of happened. Lucian Bute still would of won regardless, because the time in the round was already over. And no one would have been thinking that Lucian Bute deserved a loss, people make too much of it.

Yes the ref was bad but he didn't change the outcome of the fight.

Dirrell spent many rounds being the BOXER and peppered Froch, he even hurt Froch a few times. I'm pretty sure there is a good reason they didn't show the punch stats, cause Dirrell would have been light years ahead. Dirrell did act like a biatch in the second half of the fight I admit that, but he still should have won.

When i first watched the fight through a showtime stream online (i know im a tight arse) i had froch maybe a round or so up. When i actually bothered to take out the patriotic commentating and watch it in realtime its clear for all to see that froch won that fight as easy as he won the pascal fight

No sweat, maybe Killer will post something up. Until then, I still don't see Bute. No way he gets a shot at the winner having beaten Anrade and Miranda, i'll stand by that. Anybody in the Super Six, for taking on the fights they have, should get another shot at the winner at the end before Bute just because he added Andrade and Miranda to his record. Who the hell is Bute gonna beat in the meantime while the Super Six plays out to keep up his great form??

Watch that final round and how long Wright kept the two of them separated when he was breaking them up. It should have been stopped when Bute was only kept up by the ropes. People focus on the final round, but Wright's incompetence throughout that fight was the single worst refereeing performance I've seen.

Anyway not that it matters, Carl Froch would beat them all on the same night whilst simultaneously shagging his bird.

So what if Andre Dirrell didn't stand toe to toe ? boxing is about ring generalship, defense, clean/effective punching. Andre Dirrell landed the better punches, for the most part he controlled the fight, fighting when he wanted to and not allowing Carl Froch to get off.

He had Carl Froch rocked twice, where as Andre Dirrell was never hurt. Yes i don't like Andre Dirrell style but your British bias is clouding your judgment. Getting ready to let your fists fly as you put it means what exactly ?

The fact is he hardly landed anything, and his pressure was ineffective. Andre Dirrell won hands down and a majority of the boxing fans feel that way aswell.

Yeah, because you're not one to let patriotism affect how you view the fight

I suppose the Primetime commentary team including long-time Froch supporter John Rawling & Hennessy fighter Jon Thaxton were also clouded by pro-US feeling when they had Dirrell winning by a couple of rounds

You seriously should get a job with showtime working on press row as you clearly have no idea how to score a contest and are easily swayed by others around you

Are you off your rocker ? seriously do yourself a favor. And count how long Lucian Bute was on the canvas. He got up at the count of 8, it took 27 seconds overall from the time Lucian Bute got up, too all the nonsense regarding the neutral corner.

But it only took 8 seconds for Lucian Bute to get up, and thats a fact. And the time in the round was already over so as i said, it didn't matter whether or not the ref, told off Librado Andrade about not being in the neutral corner.

The round was already over at the point, all Lucian Bute had to do was beat the count. And respond to the ref which he did, had the ref not have done that BS about the neutral corner. Then there would of been no controversy.

As for Jaz saying it should of been stopped before that, i totally disagree. The champion should always be given the benefit of the doubt especially in the last round to finish the fight, he wasn't defenseless. Although he was seriously hurt, but he survived and technically. He wasn't given any breaks regarding that, he survived on his heart and toughness.

And lastly the biggest robbery since Lewis vs Holyfield 1 ? wow are you kidding me ? considering everyone here voted Carl Froch vs Andre Dirrell as the robbery of the year last year.
