Youd have to give props to Floyd but you would ask questions of Mosley as a couple of decades ago he wouldnt have been stopped.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I don't think Floyd winning would be a reason to say Mosley got old overnight (although many will)
But stopping him? Put it this way, I'm not going to be able to see it unless things change, if I come home late Saturday night and go online and see Floyd TKO the very first thing I will think is Mosley got old. Because while I can see Floyd beating a prime or even slightly post-prime Mosley I can't see him stopping him.
If the impossible happens...Floyd would be in the drivers seat big time while he tried to land a fight with Manny. I'd give him his due as well...that's for sure. But even if Floyd has the opportunity to go for a stoppage/knockout, history says he won't go for it.
Well...a cut...a bs wobble stoppage?
First thing I'd do is check Mosleys blood for food poisoning.I dont think Floyd has the desire to earn that ko personally.
Mosley's punch resistance has totally gone.
No way does Floyd stop Mosley though, Mosley has always been very durable.
Dont think it would happen if it did i dont think hed be P4P King onless he fights Pacman and stops him again is that going to happen? i dont think.... Omp i Would say Mosley SD as i Respect the man
I hate this shithead with the passion of 2 lovers at the romantic era but if ever he knocks down a man that has never been knocked down before and against much more powerful punchers... well, I will have to scream to the moon like a wolf: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo", lose permanently some sanity, curb down all shivering in the darkest corner of my room with some saliva dripping from the left side of my mouth and then, admit the fact to myself with the help of a psychologist and some medication and finally, give him some credit... with the help of a bit more medication.![]()

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Mosley is not Marquez, he is bigger and he's been a junior middleweight who is now a welterweight. He has pop in his punch and faster than Marquez that even though outclassed and out gunned still got Mayweather with some rights. Mayweather could not knock out a man that was made to order for him and I will say one thing, I wouldn't be surprised to see his butt on the canvas. Mosley was written off after Cotto but look what happened when an experienced corner and an experienced fighter uses intelligence against youth and brute force with good stamina to kayo a man labeled a destructive force in the welterweight division. Floyd should be wondering if that same man that took out Margarito is the one that shows up fight night.
I really don't think its possible. I believe MOsley was hurt against Forrest after that headbutt, and Forrest landed some huge right hands on him. Judging by the COtto fight I think Mosley due to greater relaxation is even harder to hurt.
If Mayweather ko's Mosley all it means to me is that he needs to face Pacquiao and then we could really see who deserves to be in the top 10 p4p all time.
IMO it will be impossible for a modern fighter regardless of what they accomplish to become p4p #1 simply because there is too great an attachment to the greats of old, and the sport has changed (multiple belts in each division, fewer fights, a lot less hype for most fighters).
My reply is this, Mayweather has been in the right place at the right time since he left the super featherweight division. Picking and choosing some people that had one foot on a banana peel and the other on a grave. I'm not a fan which is obvious but I respect his talent and the you have to admire. He did not do as well as can be expected with a fading a fading DeLaHoya and Marquez was much to small but he toyed with him because he could not Kayo him. I'm not saying he's not great or has that potential but man to man even a fading Mosley that ha been full of surprises can be dangerous. Mosley also has great stamina and now Floyd has one thing to prove. Does he have the will to win? Can he be impressive against a man with equal skills if not the disadvantages in years? Will Floyd have to absorb a real puncher's blows with speed nearly like his own? What's the date of the match?
