No proffesional sportsman who has trained for that long should be tired after two round, regardless of age.

Credit to Floyd, it was an outstanding performance after getting rocked heavily in that 2nd round. Mosley was gone by the 3rd and was pretty predictable from then on in. Also have to give credit to Mosley for staying in there to the final bell, many would have quit but his heart of a Lion prevailed.
I can only help wonder what what would have happened if that was Manny Pacquiao in that situation with Floyd hurt in the 2nd round.
Back by popular demand!
Shane didn't gas, thats absolute foolishness.
Mayweather made the necessary adjustments and with his lightning counters, totally limited Shane's output just like he does to all his opponents. Instead of standing upright like he did when he got caught, he was stepping back and countering. Shane knew this.
Why is it so hard for some to believe that its not as easy as just standing in front of a guy like Floyd and throwing hands? Floyd flustered him and muscled him, end of story.
Mosley gassed after 2 rounds? If you believe that then I don't know what to say to ya.

dude you honestly have to calm the fuck down, you're getting to Xadu or Taeth levels now just cause no one is agreeing with you, Shane looked fine, and was gassed after Floyd started beating on him basically from the 3rd on, don't see why you're acting like his stamina was always great, hell people were even commenting on his stamina issues before the fight, Mayweather beat the shit out of a willing and able Shane Mosley, simple as, now get off your high horse thinking that your feeble opinion is the only valid one
Just ignore him and he might go away...
I just rewatched highlights of the fight - Look at round 7 when Mosley is trying his utmost to pressure Floyd, throw shots, feint etc He looked pretty active and energetic to me. He is just being countered to SHIT which gave him the jitters which made him tense which in turn probably made him a little more tired than usual BUT more importantly, limited his output.
Mosley was ready and willing as Elterrible has said. He just wasn't able because Floyd outclassed him. But hey almost everyone here disagreeing with you and calling it how they saw it are "huggers" right![]()
Everyone agreeing means nothing to me..everyone on here agreed Margarito was a world beater that would destroy mosley on his way to floyd too. Everyone on here couldn't believe Margarito kicked the shit out of Cotto so when he was caught before the fight mosley everyone was like "oooooh no wonder"...because floyd cries about not getting credit everyone is sensitive about giving him credit now.
I've seen all of both their fights, and mosley has never gassed that early, and floyd wasn't doing anything special to cause it..yeah he won a wide UD...and 6 billion people could agree it still wont change these hard facts
SHANE was coming off the longest inactivity in his whole career+he's 38+and he was already training for a fight with berto which lead to possibly over training...

No, you have just gone a step above.
Are you telling me that a pro player of any sport, especially after training as hard and calculated as boxers do for so long is acceptable to be gasping for breath after a sixth of the match, when he is probably winning?
The equivilent to fading after 15 minutes in football?
Of course not, because that is why they are professionals and we are not. They should be conditioned enough to last a bit at least. It wasn't as if Floyd had hit him with bombs much at that stage. Floyd is good, but he shouldn't have you gasping after 2 rounds.
If he remains a professional he should be fit enough, if not, he should be retired.
Everyone will agree with that.
You clearly have low expectations of a proffesional on any level
