Miles while the 2nd round was great the 3rd round was probably just as revealing. If you watch the 3rd round again, you'll see Mayweather is psychologically 'playing' with Mosley. Goading him...

Mosley's jab to the body (which would of proved to be vital as a set up punch) disappeared after just two rounds and about 15 seconds. How did that happen? He got beat psychologically.

There was a point ( about 30 seconds in) were Mosley jabbed downsatirs in round three and Instead of just countering with a right over the top, Mayweather threw a 1-3(sidestepped) and a 2 for good measure.

Mosey didn't know what hit him. But he stopped jabbing downstairs with any conviction.

After that Mosley REALLY had to think about what to throw next and so Mayweather 'had him'. After this you can see the whole though process: Mayweather is showing Mosley that he is too slow and that in what ever way he pressed, Mayweather had a punch or two to answer with almost preemptively.

People may not agree with me on here, but I almost always end up right.

I'm pissed of because Terrible has consistently been wrong, and I get criticized because I have the foresight to know how good certain fighters are. I stated the greatness of Mayweather and Pacquiao far before most people on here, and I've been 100% right with both of them. People think its hubris to believe a modern fighter could conceivably be the best ever, but either one of these guys have a great chance accomplishing that in many peoples' minds. The fact is their both significantly better than anyone else who has been in the sport over the last 20 years, except maybe Whitaker.

Guys, this is out of hand.

ETM, for a guy who doesn't like Pacquiao, you tend to talk about him a lot. It happens, I used to post a ton about Calzaghe and I could never stand him. The thread title should NOT have been about how Pacquiao would have taken those shots, Pacquiao wasn't mentioned at all. It's bad when the biggest detractors are the ones first bringing him up in threads not about him.

JonesJrMayweather, you're borderline creepy with all this dude. I know for saying that you will tell me I'm being choked by the cock of Mayweather but it's the truth. You need to take a step back and just start talking about the fight that actually happened. You seem to have this constant need to tell this forum that it wasn't a prime Mosley. Newsflash! Not really, everyone knows this. We know he got tired! I know what it's like seeing a favorite fighter lose when he just doesn't look like himself in the ring and you just have to accept that. You don't have to go to such great lengths to get that point through. Like Nazim said 'Save your excuses for your mother.' My advice is to give the topic a bit of a rest, talk about Nonito Donaire or something. You're talking to yourself at times. It'll be good, you'll be better and possibly less at risk for ulcers.

Majesty - Get off Floyd's nuts or at least try your opinions are a bit incendiary.

Taeth - There are no words to type, only a smilie can profess what I really think of you.

    You're the shit man!
Theyre both my among my favorite fighters. And I never argued that pbf couldn't win. The fight was a disappointment because shane wasn't at his best not because floyd "did a great job" like normally. And floyd deserves credit for exploiting that, but I won't ignore the facts that took place before floyd started to win the fight. I've always argued that if shane doesn't beat him no one will. So you and taeth can relax with all that bullshit. if everyone knows he was old and got tired then why is it a crime to state that?

Lets just throw a fucking parade for floyd since he cries about not getting credit.

and p.s Taeth, prime RJJ would smash everyone p4p over the last twenty years easily..

Something kicked in with floyd around that time that he could win this through sheer hand speed and shane just couldnt find the answer that still aludes professional boxers today as to how you actually get into floyd without getting hit on the counter.

Mayweather went up a notch in my book for the way he came back from being hurt, and hurt he was. He got back on the horse and boxed brilliantly for the next 10 rounds. I know he can be a prick but theres no doubt the guy can fight

My sentiments exactly. I would gladly tell all how much of a prick i thought Mayweather was, but after this fight my hat goes off to him. His post fight interview was humble and bang on the button.

He does speak alot of shit pre-fight, great hyping for any fight, but after this fight ya got to agree he is by far better than any boxer out there at the moment ( except Manny )

The title of this thread says it all. It was the only round worth watching. I swear you who thought this was a good fight were walling in pre-hyped talk. The under card was a actually a "fight" with Cotto-Alvarez. Mosley left the fight after the second round. Mayweather threw what? 2 right hands in the second round and they looked good but did nothing. Mosley was playing with himself waiting for Mayweather to do something and that's pretty much what happen the rs of the fight. CRAP!
