He's in his 30's, if he isn't ready now then he will never be ready.

My question is: Who is ready for Floyd? Pacquaio is ready, it's a question of whether he is good enough to win. Mayweather showed a sign of himself we have never seen before in his fight with Mosley and it was impressive. He was in deep serious trouble in round 2 and instead of getting on his bike he simply went to plan B and never looked back. Pacman will have to be at the very top of his game to beat Mayweather, different angles, constant pressure, speed and power and yet i have a feeling Mayweather will find some way to counter all of this.

Pac's ready , he'd make it competitive. Let's not get in too much in the Mayweather hype. Sure , he dominated an old Mosley . Not taking anything away from PBF, but Mosley was losing to Mayorga before the ko. So its a pic em fight imo

True, Mayweather is good, but I'm not sold on the Mosley fight. There is always a way to beat a man who will not throw more than 40 punches a round.

exactly , . Floyd was stunned by Mosley , and Pac is a fast starter , so he can catch Floyd early and change the whole fight. And I'll be the first one to say it

Pacman wins almost every round against Mosley .

Yeah, Pac would have eaten this version of Mosley for breakfast. Too old and hesitant by far. I actually think Pac is more than ready for Mayweather, the question is "is Mayweather ready for Pac?". I just can't see Mayweather winning enough rounds, he will need to KO Pac to guarantee the win and nobody has been hurting Pac recently. I don't care about facial bruising, nobody has been really hurting Manny. Sure, his output will be reduced, but no way you will see him throwing 30 punches a round like Mosley. Mayweather likes to wait and Manny is quick enough and active enough to make Mayweather pay.

honestly , i think it'd be a close fight, but I'd still go with Mayweather. He's too big and skilled. but I wouldnt be money on this one . I've bet large amounts of cash on all of Mayweathers recent fights (on PBF) but this one is too close to call.

if pac hurts mayweather like that in the second round, it will be all over for floyd.

Who pac has fought in the past three years is far more impressive than who mayweather has fought. There's no comparison!

I totally agree, if Pac hurts Floyd he'll close it out....BUT those counter rights hurt Shane Mosley and if Floyd is able to hurt Shane then I think he's going to rock the hell out of Manny.

Either way I no longer see this fight going the distance

I hear what your saying but theres no way anyone can say that pac isnt fast, hes so genetically gifted its not even funny and his speed is what seperates him from the rest, this thread is just daft imo how can you say just because hes in the ring with slower fighters it makes him look fast? lets put you in the ring with hatton and see if it makes hatton look like flash fucking gordon lol. manny is fast and i think itll be a long time before we see another fighter matching his speed tbh.

    imo pacquiao is ready

    - 15 years as professional boxer (floyd 13 years)
    - 56 total fights (floyd 41 fights)
    - 317 total rounds boxed (floyd 299)
    - 68% ko (floyd 61% ko)
    - 31 years old (floyd is 33 years old)

pacquiao is even more experienced than floyd as a boxer. he's ready.
