Again, the division is weak today so why cant they unify the division like Mike did

The only reason Lewis ended up being unified was because Mike had put the other 2 titles together.

My whole point is, no one has been able to come near mikes dominance, which is what everyone is crying out for, another fighter that can come through and clean up and reign like Mike did, no one has managed it since. When Mike was champ, everyone knew who the champion was and he didnt leave any doubt by fighting everyone and having an easy time with everyone.

He beat 3 defending champions then defended all 3 titles successfully 6 times Lewis tried but got knocked out by another journeyman called Rahman, no one has been as dominant, both the Klitschkos have a few losses already, so they cant ever be as dominant because there will always be questions over their hearts or chins and they haent even unified yet to be called undisputed. Little drug sissy cheaters
and mike was beaten for 10 rounds before being kayoed by a carpet layer. Holyfield grew into being a heavy. Spinks had a couple of fights then got knocked out, hardly a legit heavy.

didn't holyfield and lewis both smash the shit out of TYson? So what difference does it make how many bums Don King built up to the public to lay down for tyson, he lost to the guys of his generation. Also Lewis defeated every man he faced.

Talk about heart? Wasn't it Tyson who couldn't stomach the thought of losing again to Holyfield so he bit him TWICE in the same round to get DQ'd?

Is this the same Holyfield who kept on headbutting him? Find it quite bizarre that, despite being a few inches taller, Holyfield's head was nested in against Mike's for the majority of the fight.

You mean this headbutting? It's absolutely absurd that you're trying to justify Tyson BITING Holyfield TWICE in the same round.

I'm not justifying it. Just saying I can see why Mike got a bit pissed off - I don't condone the biting though, obviously.

Oh, and for the record, that footage is from the first fight - not the fight where Tyson bit his ear.

He got pissed off because he headbutted Evander and it didn't work so he bit him?

Another noticeable thing in the fight, the second one, which is obvious after watching the first one is that Holyfield clearly understood that Mike lead with his head so he kept his own down as to possibly catch Tyson and make him cause the collision of domes. Either way the butts were clearly caused by Tyson not Evander.

When anyone talks about Mike, they talk about what happened from Douglas onwards. Everyone knows Mike didnt give a shiit about boxing anymore, he hardly trained, barely sparred, never listened to any new trainers. He was just doing it to earn money.

Yet when people talk about Holyfield, they dont include all his losses, getting dropped hard by Ruiz, his pathetic showings against Lewis, getting slapped around by Toney in his first fight at heavy!! That there is a bum

Mike was 22 or 23 when he left Rooney, he had so much more he could have shown but instead, as soon as he got with Givens his skill stalled, then declined. Even now, id love to see Mike do some exhibitions back with Rooney just to see if it did make a difference not training under him.

The Holmes that Mike beat, beats the Lewis that Mikes sparring partner sparked

The Spinks that Mike flattened, beats the Holyfield that Burt Cooper cracked

I agree...Mercer would have had a good chance of beating Mike and I wonder why this match up was never made......Tyson came along when the heavyweight division was crap....full of junkie no mark Champions getting stitched up by Don King......I am inclined to say Trevor Berbick got paid off against Mike and was probably told to exaggerate the knock downs he suffered in the fight to make Tyson look like a monster. I'm telling you now why Tyson's management shied away from Mercer.....the answer is simple.....they fed Tyson Bruno and Carl Williams...and Tyson's management were so over protective against Williams they probably told the ref to stop the fight at the earliest point...and if you look at the fight again I can seriously feel for Carl Williams cause the stoppage is DISGRACEFUL!!!

Yes you are right, and if you really look carefully it looks like Spinks took a dive too.

    Pur-lease!

You honestly think that Berbick, in his first defence of his WBC title, exaggerated the knockdowns and was prepared to lose his belt?
