Manny has never fought anyone as quick, as defensively sound, and as confident as Mayweather is. Floyd has never fought anyone as aggressive, with the same heart, and also as confident as Manny is. Call me a mediator, but this is how I really view this fight.
That is quite true. We can all argue our points of view and back and forth they will go, but neither one of us quite knows how those styles will mesh (except for Taeth, of course). We all have our suspicions and ideas, but all of us have been proven quite wrong at some stage in the past (except for Taeth who always knew). Let's just hope this bugger of a fight gets made!
So when I am right,
like I was with Mayweather against Mosley, and everyone else will you finally believe what I say? I have never stated I am always right with every fighter, but that's because nobody else in boxing since Duran fights as completely as Mayweather does, but he is much faster and has taken that mind set to a higher level. I also think Timothy Bradley is showing a lot of great promise in these same categories, but he needs to brush up on his defense and stop winging punches occasionally.
All that being said I've watched these two in particular as much if not more than probably anyone else. They are my two favorite fighters, and I think that I have enough knowledge of the sport and how these two distinct fighters fight that it is relatively easy to make assessments about how this will turn out. Even people who watch team sports which are 10x harder to predict usually can do so with great accuracy and regularity if they really focus on studying the sport.
I think mosley was 4-1 underdog..wasn't that hard to pick floyd...
