I personally think Andre Berto would beat Miguel Cotto, and i've said that for awhile. Andre Berto as a good uppercut which is Miguel Cotto's weakness. He is faster, more fresher, and his jab is equally as good as Miguel Cotto's jab.

I don't know why Andre Berto gets so much hate, yes he's not technically perfect. But neither was fighters like Meldrick Taylor, who is very much like Andre Berto. But Meldrick Taylor was still special in his own right.

And i think Andre Berto will shock alot of people, i think he beats everyone at Welterweight except obviously the two best P4P fighters.

no hate from here, he just hasn't really done anything to back that claim up, as for fresher i don't really see it, he gets gassed pretty damn easy as seen in several fights, and doesn't really know how to follow a set gameplan, and it's not cause he adapts in there, the only guys who have had success with the uppercut against Cotto have been Pacquiao and Judah, both were southpaws, IMO Berto is good no doubt, but he's not as good as most think and a lot of that has to do with how protected he's been

Miguel is probably seeking a more lucrative fight against who I don't know, because this fight should be good for him and very winnable IMO. Berto's scalp in Cotto's resume will be great, he should've taken it.

I am a fan of cotto and the fight with berto seems dangerous, another couple of confidence building fights then berto.
