difference was Abraham was getting schooled period, Dawson was only losing cause he didn't engage or even use the jab, once Dawson began to work behind the jab he controlled Pascal completely, he finally stepped it up and had Pascal basically out, it was clear who was gassed and who wasn't, IMO it was a case of Dawson giving it away more than it was Pascal being the better fighter, i'll pick Dawson by midround TKO in a rematch

agreed, hell even his trainer was trying to light a fire under his ass, and still he finally started to listen in the later rounds, in a way it's best that it happened (the loss) might serve him as a good lesson to do more and not trying to get by with the bare minimum

I can see were Taeth is coming from. Dawson was beating Pascal up a bit in the last two rounds, but prior to that he had done little more than back away from Pascal flurries.

I've thought Dawson was moving sideways in career for awhile and lastnight was finally his step back. Slice it anyway you want but the fact he is going into his third (?) consecutive rematch says something. It baffles because at times he's shown to be a very smooth mover and fluid but cannot- will not sustain. Truthfully he looked drained. He was very concience of the bodyshots and was being effected by single punches. Early on he fought with little confidence and wouldn't sit down on his attack, you don't just 'choose' to do that. I think it's as much mental as physical with him and his post fight interview left alot to be desired.
Sorry guys, I just didn't see the first rounds, but Pascal won clearly, however the rounds weren't that onesided and a lot of them Chad just needed to do a little more to win, but his inability to adapt his stance really hurt Chad in this fight.
