I think it;s same with anything different people handle different vices very different, but I cant disagree with that I have dabbled and I agree it's aint good no matter if you use rarely or all the time, fucks your body up short and long term, but I think it is upto the individual and I have loads of mates who are on it friday to sunday and for it's just not for me, but Hatton from the stories coming out and some info I have received off a well known mate of his on here, doesn't look good he needs to get a grip and if the stories are true there had hardly been a day since he was last in the ring he has been sober that is worrying and lets hope he can sort his shit out.

I am not really surprised about this. He has been hanging out with the Gallagher bros and the likes for a while now. They made their name from being huge drug users as well as their music obviously, but the drug use made them front page news every week over here in the 90's.

Totally agree Saddo, far too many are being far too blase about this and this is perhaps a reflection of how far our societies are eroding when it comes to decent behaviour and the menace of booze and drugs.

I can understand doing it every now and then and having a pint once a week with your mates, but Hatton has been on the slide for a while now with the booze alone and now these drug allegations. Hatton doesn't appear to be a man in a very happy place right now and likely needs help.

Heavy drinking is something I don't approve of anymore and I am turned off completely by drugs. That's not to say I haven't done both in the past, but looking back I can safely say that there was nothing cool or all that fun about indulging in either. "Well done Ricky, you are corroding your liver big time and with your weight likely having an adverse effect on your heart! Carry on son, take one for the team!". Sorry, but no.

Hatton needs to look in the mirror and get his priorities straight. That footage will let down a lot of fans and it's certainly not the kind of thing you would want your kids seeing. Not really sure myself on what the whole thing is with Coke....I have never tried it, I had a friend of mine when we were teenagers have a heart attack from doing it and that was enough to scare me...I am sure he had been doing a large amount of it but still If you have the risk of dieing from it due to not being able to controll yourself in access (in the sens of one nigfhts use etc not long term like drinking does to people) it is not for me...Plus those I see do it sweat, talk to much get geeky with facial movement etc....

I think these fighters are trying to replace something they have lost in thier lives....the excitement or something that has been gone since retirement.....

I smoke some Maui Wowy now and again but that is my limit.....

I agree...Though I have to say it does not shock me so much because it has become such a habit with these guys I mean not to go back too far but lets use Pernell Whitiker as an example...An ATG one of the greatest pure boxers the sport has ever had and he fucked himself up with it...Aaron Pryor...Joe Calzaghe more recently after retirement...Mike Tyson the list goes on and on..

It is a big deal though because of the fact that look what it does to these guys....They are grown men and know what it or is not good for them of course but still sad to see happen.....Be it former world class boxers or the neighboor from down the block I hate to see anyone throw their lives away on GARBAGE!!! Yeah I said the same thing in my other post that I would not doubt that he was doing it when he fought....You are right it is well known how he abused himself with Drink/Food...Though yes Coke is illegle it does more damage quicker....

I'm one of the posters that thinks this is no big deal, hell I actually think cocaine itself is no big deal. Everyone I know does it and guess what? Not one of them have lost their jobs, became addicts, turned to crime, killed anyone, had to move onto harder drugs to 'get a better high' or ruined their lives with this so called evil drug.

I'm not in any way advocating cocaine but everyone is always so quick to vilify it, especially those at The News Of The World when they're trying to sell papers.
