Lol Maidana wants more than half a million to fight Khan. Out of interest, Skel do you know how much Paulie and Kotelnik got for fighting Khan.

Maidana will never see half a mill again. He'd be an idiot to turn that down. All this 65 - 35% stuff only really works if anyone even knows who the opponent is. Maidana might be dangerous, but nobody outside of the hardcores know him, and he doesn't sell tickets. That's a great offer for him.

Not sure mate for the Paulie one I would think quite similar to the deal on the table with Maidana, Khan is on a contract with Golden Boy for at least 7 figure pay for every fight and I think HBO would probably put the Khan v Maidana on about par with the Paulie fight in terms of money offered to host the fight.

Not 100% sure but I think Paulie made about $650,000. Kotelnik I have no idea. Con doesn't necessarily need Madiana. He just needs a puncher period. Someone who can crack. To show everybody he can take a punch. Ever since the near death experience against Prescott he's fought nothing but hand picked opponents.

Agreed. Maidana is the ideal opponent for him because of his popularity, but he's by no means the only opponent for Khan.
