It really doesn't matter at this point if he doesn't fight Maidana and goes for an Erik Morales instead, because everyone knows about the susceptibility of his chin already, but best believe sooner or later he will have to fight someone with good power that's in their prime, and he may not be a crude fighter that is woefully unpolish like Maidana.
Im sorry but i can't agree at all, i think i've been very fair regarding Amir Khan. And he is a good fighter, but now your comparing him to Terry Norris ?

Terry Norris is a great fighter, there's a big difference between good and great. When he got KO'ed by a big puncher like Julian Jackson. He got right back in there with another huge puncher in John Mugabi and destroyed him.

Terry Norris is considered one of the best Jr Middleweight's of all time, aswell as one of the most skillful fighters of the modern era.

He has wins over such fighters like.

Steve Little
John Mugabi
Sugar Ray Leonard
Donald Curry
Meldrick Taylor
Simon Brown
Buster Drayton

ETC.

But i had to check that comment again, when you said if Amir Khan had a solid chin. He could have a similar career to ODLH, SRL ? have i read that right ? are you kidding me ?
Yes, I am correct in saying that Khan's career trajectory is that of a Terry Norris career. Again the keyword here is career. I am not comparing their fight styles. Meaning that Khan won't be a massive superstar in the sport but will just be a star like Norris in the boxing game with a few good names on the resume only because of the chin issues that also kept Norris from being massive. And also guys like Leonard, Taylor, and Mugabi on Norris resume were either shot, past their prime, or seriously on the decline.

And Yes career wise if he had Pacquiao's iron chin, he would have been potentially the UK's De La Hoya or Leonard. Khan naturally possess elite speed, good power, good mobility, good boxing ability, the height and frame at 5'10" just like ODL and SRL to move up multiple weight divisions, an exciting style, and lastly he also had a very good following after the Olympics just like those 2 and had the crossover mainstream ability, but the only thing Khan was missing was a iron chin. There was a reason why even SRL himself made the comparison, even other boxing pundits made that kind of analysis, of course this was before Khan got ko in 1 minute to a guy like Presscott.
